Protecting Mickey

Mickey was a little chocolate lab puppy. He stumbled around his new owners house with his floppy ears and innocent eyes. But a wandering puppy never ends up where he intends to go. Mickey tumbled to his side and smashed right into a mirror. The glass crashed and the shards flew everywhere.1

Mickey fell with a thud onto the top of a grassy hill. The puppy was confused. He didn't know that he just stumbled through a portal. Mickey whimpered, in fear of being lost. He glanced up at the blue sunny sky. A beautiful, large light blue dragon soared magically above the clouds. He then soared down and landed loadly right next to Mickey. Mickey threw his ears in front of his eyes and whimpered.2

The dragon leaned his head down to study Mickey. It growled in a friendly tone. It slowly used one of it's claws and jently put Mickey's ears back. Mickey shivered in fear. The dragon smiled at him and purred to make him feel more comforatable.3

Mickey suddenly felt safe, and stood on all for of his short little legs that were attached to his pretty big paws. Mickey wagged his short soft tail and licked the dragon's cheek. They played around for a while and the dragon kept giving Mickey magical and fun rides in the sky. 4

Suddenly the dragon's blue ears stood up with alertness. He glanced back and saw a dark scaled dragon viciously flying towards them.5

The blue dragon grabbed Mickey by the back of his neck pinching his wrinkly, soft fur covered skin. The dragon threw Mickey onto his back and Mickey wrapped his puppy paws around his scales with all his little strength. Mickey whimpered as the dragon soared into the air with the evil dragon flying behind them.6

Mickey's tiny little heart was pumping incredibly fast. The dark dragons claw swiped at Mickey but the poor little puppy's stomach dropped as the blue dragon soared down dodging the evil dragon's claw.7

The blue dragon landed on the ground, gently setting Mickey behind him and when the evil dragon faced him the blue dragon hissed and growled. A tear dripped from Mickey's innocent eyes as he watched the two bite and scratch. 8

The blue dragon whimpered as he would be scratched and roared as he bit the darki dragon. There were loud booms as they smashed eachother into the ground. Mickey quickly stumbled to the top of the hill. He stared down at the two dragon's with tears in his eyes. He had started to like the blue dragon and now he was in a giant deadly fight.9

Mickey whimpered and whimpered. The fight below was becoming intense. Mickey was just a tiny puppy as these two gigantic dragons roared and hissed and attacked eachother. Mickey began to howl. He howled in saddness and helplessness, and ever so lsowly the two stopped fighting and glanced up at the crying puppy. 10

Mickey stared into the evil dragon's eyes from the top of the hill. The dragon felt guilty, and sad. He glanced at the blue dragon. The dark dragon closed his eyes with a sigh, and flew away through the storm clouds which slowly began to clear.11

The blue dragon slowly climbed up the hill staring at Mickey. Then they both became friends, but the dragon had to take Mickey home, so he did.12

But that day they both realized that even a tiny little puppy can make a difference to such big situations...
