Sam and Lily

Ok, you wanna know about these two then? Shure ok then. Well seen as there are two of them i am gonna do two seporate paragraphs (or more).1

Right then Sammy. He is a 17 yr old Border collie x cockier spaniel. You don't get many of those mixed breeds so i guess that one of the reasons why i love him so. He is very lazy and soo sweet natured. I would say he is doing very well for his age, he still likes to run around just a little. He like's any other dog he see's unfortunatly not every other dog like's him. If we would let him he would eat for england. 2

However for Sammy his health is starting to dwindle a little. His legs are getting stiffer and he's going blind. Also even though his ears are massive he is going deaf and i think the hearing he does have is selective, bless him.3

Right then he has done some funny things in his youth like jump up on my dads knee and lick his face alot. The most funniest thing he has done was when he was trying to get on mum and dads bed but he couldn't do it. So basicly all you could see was a pair of paws clinging on the bed covers (which were slipping) and when he fell off he gave these shifty eyes as if to say nothing happend. He has had a few bad things happen to him. Like the begging of his life were he spent the fisrt five years tied up out side. Then he got ran over and thenhe got kicked in the mouth by a horse. After that happend he carried on like a brave little soldier and continued to play in the field.4

Right then thats Sammy, now for Lily. I appologise if there isn't as much info her as we only got Lily about 5 weeks ago but she still captured our hearts.5

Lily is a 4 year old Greyhound. She is an ex racer and we got her from the rspca. When first brought her home it was a rocky start because she didn't get along with sam to well. However now she can't bare to be with out him.6

She is also lazy, however she really loves her walks. She doesn't bark much, only when she is excited. It's really funny when she is excited she runs around the house like crazy. We actualy have a name for that, we call it the Lily wall run of death. 7

Dad found out the hard way that she loves to chase rabbits when he first let her off the lead in a secure place, when she saw one that was it she was flat out after it. She didn't run off, she stoped and waited for him instead. We figured she was abused as a racer as she has scars on her only her owner could of done. As for other dogs she hasn't bein socialised yet so she can't handle too many dogs. However she is macking progress at a steady pace. 8

Lily is a stunning beautiful girl with powerful back legs. Now thats said once she gets that tail wagging she can't make it stop and every one wo has met her has fallen in love with her.
