Trees are amazing,1
Made of wood and bark.2
They're very strong,3
And face nights of dark.4
Stuck to the earth, 5
Can't really move.6
Waves their branches,7
To the wind's special groove.8
Kids like to play,9
In these wonderous things.10
Might build a tree house,11
And pronounce themselfs kings.12
They are taken for granted,13
We don't seem to notice.14
They can be a home to,15
A little green lotus.
