Well I can totally relate in some ways and some ways I cannot. Your story has a lot of indepth meaning and if you read between some of the lines you can feel the uncertainity, the rage, the wanting to believe but can't feeling. I like this a lot you have done a very good job on this piece. Keep it up.. good luck in the contest.

I can understand your concerns about the 14th paragraph... And I once felt the same as you.... But marraige is a contract and it is wrong for one to take for granted the other by binding them to a contract they have no intentions of complying to. And you are right that's when it's time to find away out, becuase when there are children involved it's not that easy to just pick up and go
But I am out now, have been for a year now... and you are right again staying to long in a unhealthly relationship can lead you to take on traits you once didn't have.

It's so easy to generalize from one man doing something or several men doing something to all men doing something. Of course, there is no doubt that you have been hurt, that's evident by all this.
I think I would call into question that statement you made about how if he does something, you are free to do it too. I don't really think that's true at all. The fact of the matter is, that will not make things better, it will only make it worse. If someone lashes out at you, and then you lash back at them, then the cycle will continue. But, I do understand that sometimes it is too far gone, and no matter what you do they will still lash out. At that point you need to GET OUT lol. That's just my thought. I just think that it will make you almost as bad as the other person if you act in the same way they are, in a way you will become them. I could be wrong, but that's how I see it. Instead of acting the same way they are, you should just get out of that situation. -
