Chapter 8: Happy Ever After?1

Part I: I’m a Wanted Man2

The next morning, I woke up and saw her, laying beside me, in my arms, has God brought her to he world. I couldn’t believe it. I’ve been love. That has been the most magical and wonderful night I’ve ever had and it will be the only one. I’ve found my Dark Angel. I got dress, and got her dress and decide to go and get some breakfast for both of us. I went to Burger King the first place I saw, and bought 2 sandwiches of chesses and ham for us. When I was on my way out. In the TV, they were giving some alerts.3

News Guy: breaking news! A boy is being wanted by the police. He’s found guilty after killing his own father, after this one tried to take him home. Also, wanted is being a girl that accompanies him, and was accomplice of the crime. The son left his own father, in a lake of blood last night in the middle of the road. Until now, there’s no photo or physical of the girl but here’s a photo of the guy.4

They showed a picture of me and I putted my hoodie on and got out. After I was far form the place, I ran as fast as I could. I got to our spot and Joan was awake.5

Joan: hey…were did u go?6

Dean: to get some…breakfast…here…7

I was really nervous. Lies, lies, lies. Was everything that reporter said. Obviously he got that info form the cops that got that info from my mom. And blaming Joan, that’s a big mistake. She has nothing to do with it. On the contrary, she was a victim. I looked at her. She looked to innocent eating that sandwich. Like a saint. Of course, last night she wasn’t so innocent. Jaja. But still…I looked at her eyes and she looked at me.8

Joan: mm…what?9

Dean: nothing…10

I got a bit closer and kissed her.11

Part II: Something’s wrong with him12

After we finish eating. I saw him nervous. Thinking.13

Joan: Dean…is something wrong?14

Dean: Joan…I…we…they are looking for us…15

Dean: the cops17

Joan: what?! Why?!18

Dean: in the news it said that we were being wanted by the cops ‘cause I killed my dad…after he “tried to take me home” and they are looking for you, ‘cause you’re my accomplice19

Joan: what? But…that’s not true…20

Dean: I know but they most got all of that from my mom…she hates me, too…and maybe she knew about you when my dad told her…but…I’m gonna turn my self in…you…go to your house…and I’ll clear everything and get your innocence 21

Joan: what? No! I won’t let you go! You did nothing wrong!22

Dean: I know…but I did kill him…23

Joan: to save me!24

Dean: yeah…but…they wont stop until they get me…and it’s not fair that you go…you were a victim…25

Joan: you can’t go…26

Dean: then…what am I suppose to do? I don’t want them to get you, too27

Joan: then…let’s…runaway…28

Dean: what?! Are you crazy?!29

Joan: well, yes!30

Joan: let’s do it…I don’t wanna go back to my house…I don’t want to lose you…please…let’s just runaway from this world and find a new world…32

Joan: where ever love takes us…as long as we’re together…I’m good…34

Dean: ….ok….my mom and dad have a hidden box where they have all the money…is not much but I also have a few savings…35

Joan: yeah….me, too and….I know that my big brother has a LOT and I know where it is…36

Dean: mmm…so…are you up to it?37

Joan: If you’re with me…yes…38

Part II: Running…Escaping…Loving…40

I couldn’t believe what she just asked me to do. But I said yes, ‘cause it was a brilliant idea. I went to m house, that bitch which I used to call mom, wasn’t home. I break in to my room, got some stuff, and my money and hers. I’m already being wanted for killing, so. After, I go to the spot. Joan has done the same, got some stuff and money. Including her brother’s money.41

Dean: ready?42

She kiss me.43

Joan: ready…44

I smile at her. I grabbed her hand and we began to walk away. We went to a train station and from there to on was a non-stop trip. We were two lovers on the run. Running from the cops, the pain and shame. We were running with peace, freedom and love. We sleep during the light and run with the dark. And we’re gonna keep doing this, together, and in love. 45
