Extermination - PT. 2

"'Ey Rhys, you got yer shovel yet?" Simian didn't hear anything, so she waited a moment. "Rhys?" Again she stopped. She heard a loud thud inside the building, and Rhys came flying out of a hole in the wall, shovel in hand, hitting the building across the street. Simian watched him slide down and hit the sidewalk, and she smiled. "Hahahahahaha!! No, no, that was funny! You went flyin', mate!"1

"You're plum crazy!!" Rhys yelled, throwing his shovel down onto the ground, "W-watch out!!" Simian turned around and saw 2 zombies crawling out of the hole they'd thrown Rhys out of. They stood in front of her and growled, green slime dripping from their jaws, and a sickly smell of rotting flesh coming from them. "Oi!! Get outta there you crazy b***c!!" Rhys yelled, backing up against the building,2

"Why Allo!" Simian said, waving to the dead minions in front of her" Rhys just stared, pulling his hat over his face,3

"Cor." 4

Suddenly Simian ducked down, nearly avoiding the strike of one of the zombies. She bolted across the street and grabbed Rhys, picking him up and running off,"5

"'Ey put me down!! Put me down!!" He tried to kick her, but she hoisted him up so he was sitting on her shoulders,6

"I'll put ya down," Simian said, "if you wan' a die. Do ya?"7

"N-no!" Rhys shouted, "You're stone bonkers aren't ya!?" Simian smiled angrilly, her eye twitching, 8

"You 'ave quite a mouth on ya for a kid!" she said, stopping quickly. Rhys was thrown forward and landed on the ground at Simian's feet.9

"Why'd ya stop!?" he asked, rubbing his head,10

"That." Simian pointed ahead to a group of incorporeal beings. Rhys stood up, clutching his shovel and grimacing.11

"We're gonna' fight, right?"12

"Right." Simian pulled out an axe, scrapping the edge of it against the ground. She ran forward, slashing away at the zombies, hacking their unfeeling bodies into tiny bits. Rhys ducked beneath them, slicing off their feet. One of them grabbed him, throwing him into the air. Simian rolled over and he landed on her back,13

"Noice catch..." He said dizzily,14

"Hold on!!" She ran forward, dodging the zombies' assaults. She threw Rhys out of the ambush, just as zombies mauled her,15

"SIMIAN!!" Rhys rolled down the street, skidding to a stop and looked back, unable to see Simian in the mess.
