My house

My house is going to be so big. Even the loo(s)shall be enormous in size. For I am so bloody tired of being in this cramped little box of a cell with only a shelf to lie on and a toilet to sit upon. There shall be no bars on the windows ... I do not care if someone is able to break in for I cannot bear to have my windows covered by anything but a shutter or a nice curtain. I shall have the very largest and plushest bed that money can buy, with heaps and heaps of soft comfy pillows and the most plump comforter in the world. I want shelves upon shelves that line the walls to be filled with books ... and framed photos of myself and my love on walls that are not shelved. Many of the walls shall be windows though. To let in the light and afford a glorious view of the outdoors. I want the most comfortable furnishings and the most calming colours possible. Most of all ... I want beauty. I am so very tired of ugliness in my life.

Love, You shall have all of this and more. You shall have the freedom You crave, my hand holding Yours in love peace and support. You shall have Your own beautiful yard that together we put a lot of work into keeping it beautiful. There shall be no more ugliness in Your life.

Hey T - saw this and just had to tell you something: when I got released after the time I did (and four years isn't really that long when I look back and compare to people doing a lot longer), I rented a place with 'the works' - three bedrooms, dishwasher, aircon, stained glass 'feature' window in a 'feature' wall, private courtyard, garden, ensuite bathroom, two loos and a massive living area. I also went and bought a $1800 queen bed with 'pillow top'. Some people thought it was a bit extravagant - but it was so worth it. Though - despite having all of that, you know what made me the happiest? Going down to the corner store to buy milk whenever I wanted to. A close second was lying on my front lawn one night - full moon and not a wisp of cloud - and just staring at the stars into the dew seeped into my clothes and made me freeze.

Keep the dream T - one day you'll be living it.
