Writing a story

Step one: Decide what your novel will be about. 1

Step two: Determine your plot line. You can add in as many details as you want.2

Step three: Character descriptions. Try not to change too much of this over the course of the novel.3

Step four: Determine how it will begin. *** A specific scene should be decided on. Remember, any additions you add to what happened before your novel can be added as memories of a character, or you can have a character tell a story... Or use a prequel. many options of how to add background information.4

Step five: Begin writing. Keep at it, or you will lose your idea and muse and then you will never finish.5

Start with a letter.7

Start in the middle and use flashback. It works every time!8

Describe the main character in the begining. Like "Carly is a sixteen year old girl who..." or "A year ago, Carly would have never thought she would..."9
