Revenge of Sophia (part 4)

As Sophia continued to read about the reunion, she began to notice a noise in the background. To begin with it was faint, to which she ignored,but it eventually got louder. When the noise sounded as though it was right behind her, she looked up from her book, and turned around to come face to face with the very man she had followed to Nibelheim.1

He looked at her, then smiled weakly.2

"You have followed me here," he said to her in a calm yet questioning tone. Continuing to stare into his eyes coldly, Sophia nodded to him, before replying "I wish to find out more about this reunion. What it has to do ith Sephiroth, and what it has to do with me. The reunion is the gathering of sephiroth clones. What is the purpose of this? Why?"3

The clone took the book off her, and with one swift movement, he closed it. As he cloed it, alot of dust flew off, making Sophia cough slightly. 4

"These books are all predictions of a second rate scientist. You notice those black capes out there? Well they are incomplete versions of me, also seeking out your master. They travel the world until they know they are in the prescence of the great Sephiroth. The idea of the reunion is to revive your master and restore power to our mother, the one they call Jenova." he said to her. Sophia looked confused, but as she was about to ask why they wished to restore jenova, she heard a voice behind the clone.5

"Sephiroth?" said a blonde youth from behind him. Sophia looked on as the clone turned round. As he talked to the youth, she picked up the book again and began to read once more. She found out that the power of Jenova, combined with the Black materia, would allow Sephiroth to summon the destructive magic meteor, which would, in her eyes, wipe out this pathetic world. As she looked up, she smiled evilly. She then threw the book down onto the floor as the clone faced her once again. 6

"You see that blonde boy there? well he was Cloud, the one who destroyed our mission five years ago. He will be the one we should stop, him and that girl travlling with him." Her told her. Sophia just stared at him blankly before looking back at the books, then running past him, she headed for the exit of the mansion and towards the entrance to the mountains. She waited there for about an hour, wandering around, looking for something to do, before coming face to face with the blonde haired youth.7

She stared him in the eyes, hatred growing deeper and deeper with every step she took towards him. When she was standing right in front of him, she said,8

"Cloud Strife, long time no see. Remember me? They called me crazy or mad Kianna."9

Cloud looked at her before replying10

"Kianna, the girl who used to go mad at everything. Who thought the world evolved around her, the selfish pathetic attention seeker who sucked up to sephiroth. Yeah I remember you, though I would rather forget."11

Sophia stared at him, then chuckled, knowing that everyone had thought of her that way. She looked into his eyes once more.12

"I am now known as Sophia. I suppose you are following Sephiroth. Trying to get your own back for what he did to this pathetic little town. For turning onto the people of this pathetic world, or is it just to help you feel big and strong? Everything you were not when in the shinra army." She asked him. Cloud just stared at her, before walking past to get into the mountains. She smiled as he left, knowing she had touched a nerve. She shouted into the cave, 13

"Jenova will be happy to see you at the reunion. After all she is part of you."14

Then she followed them into the cave, continuing on to find the master she seeks.15
