A poignant essay into the psyche of man and his expectations.You have mentioned this from the innermost chambers of your heart and the extension of the same into your mind.Man loves but letting go is impossible.Letting go in the physical sense might be possible but the strength of the mind is immense and immeasurable.Memory is the undoing and the day we have switches to control what we wish to remember and what we do not wish to,will give us absolute utopia.but then this will also remove the essence called Life.Thus we need to move on..its like Robert Frost puts it..in three words I have understood Life...IT GOES ON! So let us be up and doing...nurture the present,foster the new tomorrow that awaits us welcomingly and harness our skills sublime ...Let the world see what we are made up of rather than others spreading infamy.1
In Life you need to have a focus,..do you wish a Life partner..in every sense of the term ..then beware that you will have to adjust to his failings..tempers frayed are tempers spread..tempers sprayed..2
Amidst chaos you need to assume the role of the sane person..what is important to you? Winning the Argument or Winning the person! We seldom do this segregation and land up losing both.3
Writing this is all easy you might feel outside the ring,but I have boxed myself and thus this comes straight from the gut!4
Expect nothing and you will get serendipity.5
Serendipity is faculty of getting more than you had asked for,in a nice way.6
This word is taken from the "The Three Princes of Serendip"7
Serendip is actually Sanskrit "Swarnadeep"..SwarnaGold..DeepIsland..the island of Ceylon was called Swarnadeep in ancient times...8
Thus always prepare for the worst..and then hope for the best!9
This philosophy is the harbinger of so many success stories ..it has shades of negative impulses,I agree but it has stronger shades of making oneself impregnable against the worst of adversities and calamities.10
So,whatever the outcome..we have to come out of all the problems that besot us.11
These sharpen our character and chisel our personality!12
So Lets make the World a better place.Lets make faith stronger!13

Dare to dream and you will succeed. It you think you can do something, you usually can. It is those that do not put in the effort that have said they cannot do something and they are defeated before they even begin. Some profound thoughts in your essay - inspirational for sure. Well written.

"hope for the best and expect the worst"
These are words I have lived by all my life. I chase my dream but reguard them as just that. Am I a romantic realist perhaps? Is that possible? Anyways, awesome write as usual. Not many understand life and see the big picture as you do, much less have the talent to write about it. It is comforting to know that I am not the only one who analyzes these things in life. The big picture is truly more beautiful! -

I thouroughly enjoyed reading this. It has given me a new and opitmistic refocus. I love the explanation of the word 'serendipity' that is very like many words that we miss the meaning of its foundation and spirit. Very beautifully stated. Thank you for sharing this.

Your write was wonderful to read. I really enjoyed it. I guess because it tells me a little more about my new friend that God has chose to bring into my life. I find it hard to always prepare for the worst. I always think the best of people and situations. That is how I always was. The total optimist. And it has brought alot of pain. i like these kind of writes. it truly puts to light the fluidity of the english language. lets the reader feel like the words are washing him away. well- that's how i feel...relaxed and flowing.
and about the content of your essay- i can relate to you so much!!! i understand how you feel- like moving on with your life or letting destiny play her game. and i love the great metaphors!!! keep it up.
