There was another loud knock on the caravan door. I got up to answer it quickly. I was expecting to see my Mother standing there, but it was only Rhylan. Luca and the baby were asleep.2
“Hayleigh, can you come back to my caravan for a minute? I need to talk to you.” He asked.3
“Can’t we talk here?” I asked. 4
“No I need to show you something.” He hurried. I stepped outside and to his caravan. He sounded kind of serious. I walked inside to see my best friend unconscious in his bed. 5
“Oh my god Taylor!” I cried. “How did she get here? What happened to her?” I added.6
“I’m not sure, I got a knock I opened the door she said your name and passed out. I think she’s been hit.”7
“Thank you Captain Obvious, you can tell she’s been hit! Look at her face!”8
“I was only telling you what I saw!” He snapped. 9
“I’m sorry Rhylan I didn’t mean to snap at you. She must have thought I was still here. I haven’t spoke to her so she didn’t know Luca is here. What happened to her!”10
“I don’t know.” He said shaking his head. 11
“Hayles, you’re here.” Taylor said. 12
“Taylor!” I exclaimed running to her side. “Are you okay?”13
“I think so, this man took all my money and hit me!” She cried. “He took my phone and everything!”14
“Oh my gosh. You should have called me! I would have came and picked you up if I knew you were coming! I have been so worried about you!” I cried. 15
“I’ve been so miserable, since well you know. At first I was so angry with you and them all, but I know that you didn’t know. You couldn’t possibly. I just wanted to be with you. I am never going back home.”16
“I know that feeling I was so scared that you would never speak to me again.”17
“It’s not your fault. This is going to sound so corny and cheesy…” She started and her eyes filled with tears. “But I am glad that you’re my sister.” 18
I started crying and grabbed her for a hug.19
“I’m glad too, I should be miserable but I’m not! I am glad we are sisters!” I smiled. 20
She had taken this all so well. I mean I know she was upset and all but she was happy at the same time. Yeah finding out your adopted sucks but gaining a sister that was your best friend in the whole world is good.21
“This is Rhylan by the way, I was staying with him, but Luca is here so yeah.” I said. 22
“LUCA is here?” She squealed with excitement. That was so like her, forget all her problems in the world to concentrate on me. She was such an amazing person. 23
“He got here yesterday! I am so happy!” I beamed.24
“I knew you would sort it out! That is so cool!” She smiled hugging me. 25
“Oh I’m so rude, Hi Rhylan.” She suddenly said reminding me where we were. I completely forgot in the two seconds since I introduced them.26
He gave a nervous laugh. “ Hi, I’m Rhylan.” He said and quickly looked away blushing. She turned a nice shade of pink as well. 27
I smiled. She liked him. The thing about Taylor was she was SO obvious when it came to guys. She would always blush while talking to them if she liked them. And she would get this silly little smile on her face. I thought by his reaction that he felt the same way. Although it could have just been him being embarrassed by us forgetting about him. 28
“Wow I forgot about the pain for a minute there. I have such a head ache. My face is so sore too.” She said holding her cheek. 29
“I’ll get you an icepack.” He said. “And some pain killers, my dad should have some,” He said.30
After that moment, they started talking, it became clear to me that she would be fine there that night with him. I told her I was going to sleep and gave her the key to our caravan. 31
The next morning I woke up to find that Taylor had not come home. That brought an immediate smile to my face. Things must have gone well. It seemed that Trent really was a thing of the past. I knew that nothing would have happened that was too serious. Taylor wasn’t one of those girls that would sleep with someone she didn’t know. 32
Charlene…It was so confusing. I didn’t know what I should be calling her. At first I thought Mum was fine but I didn’t really feel right calling her that. She had done nothing for me to consider her as being my Mother. Maybe is she had of welcomed me it may have felt more natural. But it just didn’t. I got to thinking about her though and wondered where she was. Where would she go in a town like this. I hadn’t done much exploring but it didn’t seem like it had much to offer. Most of the houses looked like half way homes. They were very much like the shabby ones I saw in her neighbourhood at home. I got thinking about her Mother too. Should I call my grandmother and let her know that her daughter is was there to come and see? Was it my place? Did I have that right? 33
What would Charlene say? I mean she told me herself that she didn’t want anything to do with hr family. So I took it that she would be furious if I dobbed her in. I knew deep down that it wouldn’t bring us closer together. It suddenly occurred to me why she may not have wanted contact with her Mother. 34
Did she know about the rape? Did she know what happened and how we might have came to be?35
Taylor spotted me on the way back from Charlene’s Caravan and interrupted my many thoughts.36
“Morning.” She smiled. I was shocked to see how well she was doing.37
It was like this whole thing hadn’t effected her in the slightest. She didn’t seemed phased by it. I took it so bad, it mad me feel really stupid. But I supposed everyone has their own way of dealing with grief. Maybe she just wasn’t showing how much pain she was in. 38
“You were out all night.” I smiled. 39
“Walk with me?” She asked, she hadn’t questioned the baby in my arms yet. We started to take a walk around the caravan park. I still hadn’t seen it yet and I had been there for over a month. 40
“He is amazing.” She smiled. “He’s the nicest guy I have ever met, he’s so genuine! We talked all night, and he took care of me, and I felt so comfortable with him! I didn’t even care that he was a stranger! I feel like I know him.” She barely stopped for air as she said it all, she was talking so fast. It was good to see her so happy.41
I was really glad to see that she had something to take her mind off the whole situation. The first thing I thought when I saw him on the bus was that “Taylor would like you buddy.” 42
“I know, it’s weird. I got along with him instantly too. He’s really nice. Soooooo, did anything happen?” I smiled. 43
“Hussy! No!” She laughed. “I barely know him! But I really like him! I don’t know it must be the concussion, I never open up this much to strangers.” 44
“Wooh! You didn’t tell me you were pregnant! It hasn’t been NINE months since I saw you last, please explain.”45
“Um…this is our um…well it’s Charlene’s baby.” I said uneasily. She didn’t know that I had found our Mum. 46
“Oh that’s great who is Charlene?” She asked.47
“Well she is our Mother. This is your sister.” 48
“Wow.” she gasped. “I think I need to sit down.” 49

Well I am sad to say this story is nearly over, I have just about finished writing it so I will post more later. Lol its been fun though.

I think this is one of your best chapters. Of course I say that because I know all the characters so well. But it seems you get better and better with your writing skills with each chapter. You have written an amazing story, and I can't wait to see how it ends!
