Animals!

My favorite animal would have to be a dog! I know it's really simple, but I love them! They're absolutely wonderful!1

I'm going to narrow it down to my favorite dog, which is a miniature dachshund.2

A little known fact about them is that, if you've seen weiner dogs, (Which I bet you have. ) They have VERY long spines, but short rib cages.3

The sad thing is, iTt's very easy for them to get a disease there, and prevent them from ever walking. Or, if they jumped off of something high, (Like a couch) they could easily break their backs!4

The animal I hate the most..would be a box jelly fish, Because for one, they are one of the most deadliest creatures on the planet, one sting and you are dead! I never want to get close to one! I had an experience with a regular jelly fish at the beach once, it was washed up on shore, but scared the crap out of me! Once you learn about a box elder jelly fish, trust me. You'd be scared!5

A little un known fact is that when this jellyfish stings you, it's stingers are not activated by touch, but by the chemicals of it's pray! Scary....6

It's tentacles also grow about as long as 10 feet!!!! TEN!!!!7

I just did some research..and I learned about an animal I've never heard about before.8

It's called a Tamaraw! (Meaning Dwarf Water Buffalo. Interesting!)9

This animal is in the top ten rarest animals left! In 1900, there were about 10,000 of these animals! But it reduced to 120 in 1975, then 370 in 1987. I learned that they originate from the Philippines. It's a very small hoofed mammal, it's not a subspecies to the local carabao, or water buffalo. It belong to the family Bovidae, and was discovered in the Philippines, above, and below sea level on an island there.10

They prefer to live in tropical highland forests, in thick bushes or where grassy plains are.11

All I found, was that it eats bamboo shoots and grass! Kind of like a panda. It's quite sad to hear, because the Tamaraw feeds like we do, during the day, but most have switched to nocturnal because of people hunting!12
