My mom told me a few months ago that she bought tickets to the Blink 182 concert in Las Vegas. And we found out that the band Valenca was opening for them.2
It was last night and it was so much fun! Valencia played first and they are now my favorite band EVER!
They were great. And we were super close to the stage. 3At first, the moshing and the crowd surfing was kept to a minimum. But I promise you, it got a whole lot worse.
4Anyhow... Yeah, Valencia was great. Then this other band came out and played for about an hour. Motion City Soundtrack Band or something like that?
Everyone seemed to know their songs but I thought they sucked. 5Then Blink 182 came out. HOLY COW! Everyone pushed forward and the moshing got a whole lot worse. I mean, a LOT worse. And Taylor, my best friend, was all excited because Blink was her favorite band and thiswas the first concert either of us had been to. 6
And then this idiot guy lit a cigarette on the floor which I am almsot positive is NOT allowed. And this other guy started dancing all insane like and my mom went crazy on him becase he pushed Shawn, Taylor's mom, twice and amost hit me in the face a few times. She puched him in the stomach and called him a Mother F'er. Mom's...
7And after almost two more hours of reallyloud music that was practically deafening and getting pushed around, I'd had enough. I went outside to wait with my mom who had left a half hour earlier because she is now deaf. 8
I was wearing the Valencia t-shirt that my mom had bought me at the beginning before the concert and this guy walked up and was like, 'Nice shirt. We appreciate it." and he gave me a high-five. I was like, "Okay..." until I realized who he was. He was Brendan Walter, a guitarist in the band Valencia! And right next to him was Shane Henderson, the lead singer. It was exciting. 9
Well, it was exciting. I loved it (mom hated it but is happy I loved it) and it was Blnk 182's first concert of the first tour since five years ago when they split! Wooo
