Lily was almost asleep when suddenly her cat jumped up onto her bed. "Stupid cat," she muttered, picked it up, and stormed out of her room.1
She plopped the cat down on her mom's lap. " I don't want your stupid cat!" her mother screeched, disgusted.2
"Well, too bad. it doesn't matter if you don't want her, you're stuck with her!" Lily snapped, and marched off.3
Remembering the fight they had had earlier, she turned around in the doorway.4
"Same goes for me," she whispered, before she turned around and slammed the door.5

this is to my mom. it's not entirely truthful-we didn't have a fight, and i didn't say those things, but i have heard her say time and time again when she thinks i'm asleep, that she wishes that i had never been born.
