Mousehunt

1

'Grabber' in hand, Lily searched every previously known hiding place in her home. With three curious felines following her steps, Lily determinedly moved the stove to find not the last dozen of mysteriously vanished toys, but the last three dozen, respectively. Laughing, she recovered the mice (hiding twenty-four), and returned to her virtual world, smiling.2

You know it is Yem I am usually accusing of cheating, but today it is you! What is a girl to do? here you have taken kitties and used them to draw me into your story.
I see that you have to bribe the little angels to leave you alone. Mycat is in my chair in the amount of time it takes me to go to the bathroom.
She is getting old and is not really a toy loving kitty any more. But we went through many a mousie and catnip toy in our day!
thanks for sharing this moment and that incredibly adorable picture!

Awww Merry liked my lil story! Yay. Thank you. YES, behind the stove, AND behind the fridge. I have SERIOUSLY and NO KIDDING bought over SIX dozen mice since January! I could NOT figure out what kept happening to them. So my mom hit the ground and lo and behold there they were. Since then I try to keep my eyes open and go on a mousehunt once a month or so. It's worse than the missing dryer sock mystery when you have three cats in an apartment that doesnt allow cats because they can't look out the windows much. Must keep the troops amused! Oh and Sabbatha- she fetches and will bring the mouse back for me to throw.

Ooops well I love cats obviously. Still getting the hang of these lil shorts thank you hon!

That is the cutest kitty picture, and the most amusing story I've seen for a while. Why is it that they can't find their own toys? Behind the stove, you say? Good luck in the contest. Thanks for commenting on "Last Night."
