O my God, why hast thou forsaken me? What, pray tell, terrible sin have I commited to deserve such sorrow? Swept away were my loved ones. I remember, o how sweet the memory, her. How soft her face, how sweet her smile, how kind her spirit. Thou surely have ye own solace? Ye surely have a person or place where peace you implore? Alas - by unmerciful disaster, she was claimed, as part of my soul went with her, to return never again to my core. That was where peace i sought, but now, she has been taken to the abyss, swept away by dark Hades. Tis not the only blow Fate and Destiny have dealt me this day. Gone is the angel who bore me into this world. O thee of saintly status, the mortal i most adore. Bed-ridden was she and her mate, though she was the worse case. She finally gave in, to the heavens was she borne, to feast with godly Rose of Sharon. O mother! O lover! Gone are ye now, to grace me nevermore. Taken from me by the abomination!
