She was a shadow, fluttering in the breeze. She was there, yet somehow she wasn't.1
I'll always remember the day I met her. She went by Angel, but I began calling her Shadow. That day was the boy's birthday who she sat next to in homeroom. She gave him a duct taped wallet, just to say , " I knew. " 2
She always did this. I noticed it. So, when I passed her in the hallway and saw her help a freshmen who had dropped his books, I rushed over to help too. She looked me in the eye and said, " Maybe you should leave Clayton. " Stepping back, I was shocked. The only harsh words to ever come out of her mouth.3
I was shocked. Okay...so I hadn't been overly nice to the shadow-dwelling girl...but did she have to snub me like that? NOOO!4
I don't know why others didn't love her. Wide doe eyes, pale rose lips. Oh her lips....so sweet. Her hair cascading down her back in black ringlets. She had long legs...and she was amazing fast. So..why was she always alone?5
Shadow was amazing. Throughout the day she danced through the halls, laughing at nothing. She wiggled through crowds to help a fallen kid. She kicked open stuck lockers. Yet no one gave her a second glance. 6
She never kicked my stuck locker. Never helped me when I tripped myself. Why was Shadow doing this to me? Yet somehow.....I didn't care. For some reason, her ignoring me felt like she was paying special attention to me. Yet the day when I saw her walking hand-in-hand with the most popular guy in the school, my heart broke.7

Great
its getting pretty good. i want to see more, this kind of reminds me of someone at school except 'shadow' would be the dude and he is a little more popular but there are certain qualities that match. i think you should keep going with it.
