It was the first day of summer. Jay, was an average fifteen year old boy with dirty blonde hair that covered part of his right eye of his baby blue eyes. He had slightly thin cheeks. Jay was staring out at the morning sky through his kitchen window. He was sipping at a cup of coffee. He didn't really know much about who he was yet. He was one of the created. Rather than being born from a mother and father, he was just created in the mind of a man and then brought to life. Jay was just a boy with skin and everything a boy would have but he was once just an imaginary character. The man who thought of him used his dark power to bring the imaginary character to appear in the real world, but he accidentally appeared in the world of earth rather than the magic kingdom. It's like if you drew a charachter on a piece of paper and you brought it to life, well that's sort of what happened with Jay. He was unaware that he had no parents, and had no idea who his soul belonged to. Fist off, I must explain to you the dark society. Usually when you hear the word evil you think of bad guys and villians right? Well, most of the evil in the magic kingdom world belongs to the dark society. A secret society that most people are unaware of in the earth world for they do not know the magic kingdom exhists. Alot of the dark society's focus was on Jay. There was something inside Jay's heart that they could use. Although Jay wasn't, there was a part of his heart that was bitterly and purely evil because the man that imagined him was evil.. But that was what made Jay such an incredibly good person, and if you do not understand that, I cannot help because it is impossible to explain. What the dark society wanted out of Jay was to take his heart, and then use it's dark power to make themselves stronger. The dark society didn't know they wanted Jay yet though. All they knew was that there was a fifteen year old boy out there somewhere that had amazing power. Incredibly high jumping and amazing reflexes. His strength incredible, but not too much. What they needed now was to figure out WHO had this power. And they and Jay both were unaware that it was Jay who had this power due to the mistake of him appearing in the earth world. You may think the dark society has the common evil motive: to rule the world, but it is something entirely different. They want the sphere. Nobody is to own the sphere. The shpere is a round sphere with a glow to it. Although nobody on the planet knew where it was located, and that was the way it was meant to be. The dark society is constantly in search for this though. It gives whoever touches it eternal life and amazing power. It may have been a mistake to hide it rather than destroy it though... for whoever did thousands of years ago. Whoever absorbs its power gets a terrible side effect as well, they become obssessed with their own power. They will go crazy over wanting more power, and then would commonly die over their own obssesion. You see, the sphere may give eternal youth, but only from disease and such, not other common deaths. Not many can control the power they would absorb, not many at all. But nobody in the history of time had ever tried to absorb its power before. Creepwalk, one of the many leaders of the dark society is almost crazy over finding this sphere. He is an incredibly tall man with a black cloak around him and a large hoodie over his head, commonly casting a creepy shadow over the stitched up, terribly ugly leather mask over his face in which only revealed his left eye that was a pure blood red color. Not many people could describe it well for when near him they were commonly killed, but a few people descibed that when you are in the presense of Creepwalk their entire body feels an icy chill run through their veighns and a terrible chill crawl down their spine. They describe that the very air you breathe near him seems to be infected with Creepwalk's terrible evil. Commonly they said that surving his presense, they lost a part of themselves, they descibe that it seems he took a portion of their soul and kept it for himself. This is just one of the reasons people fear Creepwalk more than any person. Another is that there is a story that he once burned an entire town just by staring at it. Another power of any evil person is that they can manipulate and create flames and fire. There were absolutely no survivors. There is prbably no possible way to descibe the world through the eyes of an evil man. There is one thing feared just an ounce more than Creepwalk. His pet wolf. It is a living dead canine. The wolf's appearence is so terrible it is nearly unexplainable, but here is a small description. Most of its fur is covered in an always wet black slime. It is unknown where the gew comes from, but the wolf also has sharp yellow teeth and bloodshot eyes. The very description of this canine may be too disturbing to go any further, so I will stop now. It is so hard to even speak of the dark society, and it just seems too terrible to go on, so I will stop. The dark society isn't the only worries of the world though. Although the dark society is terribly evil, there are still other evil people who just seek revenge. We will not get into that until the story begins though. Jay lived in a beautifuly peaceful town with his two best friends. Mac is a slightly cocky, slightly muscular tough guy with a big soft side, and then there is Natalie. She had long, slightly wavy blonde hair that shined incredibly, her skin was soft like a baby's and she had baby cheeks as well, she had plump pink lips that matched perfectly with her round glassy blue eyes. Her body was slender and Jay just adored her. The three would commonly spend their time at the beach and at the cliff which were each at the opposite sides of town. The cliff was incredibly high and lead down to a large forest of green trees. Jay finally finished his coffee and put his cup into the sink. He walked tiredly into the living room and sat in a rocking chair by the fire place. He hadn't gotten much sleep lately. Jay was curious about his mother and father lately. A couple of weeks ago he overheard his mother and father talking about when they would tell him the secret. They stopped the conversation there and Jay ran to his room, thinking of theories of what "the secret could be." Suddenly there was a knock at the door. Jay ran to answer the door and when he opened it he grinned a bit to see Natalie's face. "Hey." He said. "Hi Edd, wanna come to the cliff with me?" Came Natalie's heart-warming voice. Jay glanced into his house and then nodded. "Sure." Jay slipped on his shoes and walked outside. The two ran up to the cliff and sat on a log a bit far from the ledge. They could still stare at the treetops way below though. Jay stared way down. "Do you ever think that, maybe this is all just a big accident?" Jay asked in curiosity. Natalie smiled in a slight confusion and then narrowed her eyes. "What do you mean?" Jay sighed, looking up at the blue sky. "Well," he began ", how did we mange to go with this enviorment so well, and how did we manage to just get the perfect distance from the sun to exhist? I just think that..." Jay paused for a second, curious against his own thoughts. ", I just think that it seems so perfect, so perfect that it had to be an accident... do you know what I mean?" Natalie stared all around her, thinking about what Jay just said. "You know Jay, you seem to be just too right all the time." Jay sighed. "Yeah it scares me sometimes." It sounded to Natalie as a joke, but Jay was quite serious. Jay had all these memories that weren't his and it became quite confusing to him. He never spoke of this to anyone, he just supposed they were imaginary memories. Today things were too weird though. Unknown memories and suspicious parents. Jay finally gave in. "Listen Natalie I have to talk to my parents I'll talk to you tomorrow okay?" Natalie nodded. "Okay." Jay waited for Natalie to leave, for he didn't want her at the cliff alone, and then he ran home. Jay blasted through the door and into the kitchen. His mom was cooking dinner. "Mom..." Jay started. His voice was shaky and nervous and he held back the tears. ", Mom was I... adopted?" Suddenly his mom dropped the spatula and her heart ached. Her eyes wettened and her throat knotted up. "Um... sit down honey." Jay was worried with his mom's... Norah's voice. Jay sat down biting his lip. "Honey, you weren't adopted..." Jay became confused. "We found you when you were four, at a creek... we reported it to the police but they found no parent. They were going to put you in a foster home but we... we signed the papers and you... I'm sorry baby." A tear spilled out of her eye. Then more, and she breathed rather quickly. Jay stood there with glassy squinting eyes. That spot where his heart was supposed to be was absolutely and purely empty. He gasped in a breath, and then looked up at Norah. A sudden thought then clicked into Jay's head. Mom= Norah, Dad= Bill. He stared into Norah's eyes. "I uh... I." Jay shed a tear, and used all his strength to hold the rest back. "I still love you Mom." He said. Norah was shocked, that wasn't the expected reaction. Jay then ran up to his room quickly. He slammed his door and burried his face into his pillow. Thoughts rushed through his head and it felt like his room was flipping and spinning. I'm not their son. How much do they love me? Who are my REAL parents? Why'd they keep me? Will they love me less now? Will I hate them? No. No they love me. Do I still love them? Yes, of course they raised me. They lied to me. WHY? WHAT DO I DO? These thoughts were the exact ones that put Jay to sleep. He lay curled up over the blankets and his head rested on his wet pillow. But after a few hours at around midnight, Jay jumped awake to a loud crash outside. He tightened the belt on his loose khaki jeans and zipped up his hoodie and rushed to his window to see what the crash was. It was dark and the street lights flickered off. A mysterious dark figure stood in the dark streets. It stared ominously up at Jar. Jay heard nothing but the dead silence and his racing heart. "Jay. JAY COME WITH ME." Came a loud whisper. It whirled around his head and made him dizzy as the figure reached his arm up at Jay. He jumped away from the window with a yelp and curled up in the corner. He panted and felt a terrible fear. He didn't know if he should look out the window again to see what the figure was doing. Would it come in the house? Would he come for Jay? How did he know Jay's name? Jay crawled by the window and slowly peeked outside. He saw the figure still standing there. He suddenly appeared in Jay's room, giving Jay a terrible body jolting fright. "WHO ARE YOU?" Jay screamed. The man leaned toward Jay and Jay's whole body began to feel cold and dead. "You don't exist." The man whispered. Suddenly Jay jumped out of bed and realized that the sun was rizing and he had just escaped a terrible dream. He was panting and nearly about to scream. Jay sat on his bed staring at his bedroom door for almost an hour. He didn't want to go out there and create a useless awekward moment, but he couldn't hide in his room forever. Jay was almost sweating as he stared anxiously at his doorknob. Jay swallowed the bitter taste of fear in his mouth, and reached for the doorknob. He slowly twisted it and then ever so lsowly pulled open the door. He stepped out into the hall and walked down the staircase. He came into the kitchen and stared at the back of Norah's head. She turned around and Jay nervously looked away. "Hey honey." Jay sighed and sat at tghe table. "Today is going to suck isn't it Norah?" Jay aske din a shaky voice. Norah suddenly froze. Her "son" just called her Norah. She turned around, trying to pretend she didn't notice. "Yeah baby, it is." She ran her finger through Jay's dirty blonde hair. "I told your fathe- I told Bill that I told you." Jay gulped and queazed his eyes closed. "Was he mad?" Norah quietly mumbled "Yeah." She sighed. "He wanted it to be a talk between all three of us but when you asked I just..." Norah's voice suddenly became shaky and terribly sad. "Norah I love you just as much you know?" Jay said. He smiled. "You are still my mom, I just want to meet my real mom." Norah nodded. "Well honey I guess-" Suddnely there was deep rumbling sound and the house began to shake. "MOM EARTHQUAKE!" Jay screamed. The rumbling sounded so alien and strange, and the shaking got excessebly worse. Suddenly the roof ripped off the house and the debris of it poured painfully onto the two. "MOM!" Jay yelped. His skin got goosebumps, and the hairs on the back of his neck stood straight. The sky was a blinding white shine and a strong wind was sucking everything out of the house. "MOM WHERE ARE YOU?" Jay screamed. His stomach turned and the blood rushed to and from his head, blurring his vision as he spun like a helicopter blade up out of the house and into the blinding light. The pull of this wind was so strong Jay felt as if the skin was being ripped from his muscles. The wind became so loud Jay's hearing began to ring a high pitched tone and he started getting so high and afraid that he fell asleep. Darkness. Completer black and Jay was thinking. Am I alive? What... what happened? Suddenly Jay opened his eyes and waited for his blurry vision to clear up. His body felt weak, but he manged to push himself to stand. The ground below him was made of green glass, and all around him were tall blue walls. He was in a castle. The room was large like a gym and was completely empty. Jay glanced at a tall white door to the side of the room. He was incredibly confused. "Hello?" He called out. His voice echoed deep into the air. He weakly stumbled toward the white door and tripped into the green shiny floor. He began to push himself up and turned to look in the opposite direction of the white door. Suddenly a boy appeared. He seemed to be around seventeen, and as he pulled off his hood Jay noticed he had light blue hair and lime green eyes. "I'm Alex." Came his deep voice. Alex walked slowly toward Jay. "Where am I?" Jay demanded. He was incredibly worried. "Well you are in the healing section of the Crystal Castle. You'll have to stay in here a few more minutes." With lack of energy, Jay fell to the floor and leaned against the blue wall. Alex walked slowly to him and sat next to him. "We took you through the portal." Jay groaned. "I'm dreaming right?" Alex pinched Jay. "OUCH!" Jay yelped. "I don't think your'e dreaming." Alex said. "You said you took me through a portal? Where am I?" Alex grinned. "Well we're in the Magic Kingdom. World of castles, oceans, villages and such." Jay sighed. "Your'e saying I'm in a totally different world?" Jay shouted. Alex laughed. "I see your health is gaining quite well." Jay rolled his eyes, standing with slight more ease. Then Alex stood as well. "You only technically exist Jay... you aren't really alive." Alex said. Jay's eyes widened. "What are you talking about?" "Listen Jay, you were never BORN... you body just appeared from the dust. You were meant to be an evil soul but instead you were accidentally created in the earth world and you were found, and raised. You have no family... you just exist. You were not born but CREATED by a dark soul." Jay was afraid and confused. "You mean I wasn't ever born, but another man just created me, like drawing a character." Alex scratched his head. "Yeah I guess that's one way to put it." Alex agreed. "I'm the same as you Jay, I was created by a dark man named Kane. I'm one of the few "Created" that is not with the dark society." Jay wiped the nervous sweat from his forehead. Jay didn't sweat alot but this mad ehim nervous. "Who created me?" Jay asked. Alex's eyes suddenly glared at Jay. "What?" Jay asked in a nervous voice. "You were created by the leader of the dark society Ed... Creepwalk." Alex looked very nervous. "Is that bad?" Alex sighed. "He is undescibeably evil... and he probably wants you dead. "Why... why me?" Jay cried. "Well Creepwalk is the most powerful dark man... and he created you so you have almost as much power as him... and sinse you aren't evil... he can't risk you being alive, and he could use your power too, right from your heart." Jay sat down once again as he became quite dizzy and nautious. "Why am I against him?" Jay asked. Alex sighed, then sat next to Jay. "Well, first off he wants to kill you... and second of all he is a heartless evil man. I think he is close to finding the sphere. It gives whoever absorbs its power eternal youth, but they become crazy with power. We have to destroy the sphere." Jay burried his red nervous face in his clammy hands. "This is all happening so fast." He said looking up. "Trust me, you can trust me." Alex said. Jay sighed. "I can't believe some guy just imagined me and poof i'm here." Alex grinned. "Yeah it's kinda weird huh?" Alex agreed. Jay sighed once more. "So where am I staying?" Alex laughed as if something were funny. "We need to start walking." He said. Jay nodded. "Huh?" Alex grabbed Jay's hand. "Come on!" He shouted. He pulled Jay out of the white door and they went running down a colorful hallway imbedded with diamonds. THey nurst out the front doors and Jay gasped in disbelief. There were beautiful mountains in the distance and a dirt path leading out to the forest. The sky was a purple color too. "This place is amazing." Jay said in awe. Alex glared at him. "Yeah, yeah it's beautiful, NOW LET'S GO!" He barked. Jay was still dizzy from trying to understand all of this, but he ran along side Alex. They ran through the green forest. The sunlight shined through the grean leaves causing the dirt path to glow a green color. " They ran through the twisty turny path doging branches and sticks. "Why are we rushing?" Jay asked as he ran with all his might. Suddenly a hairy, giant spider jumped on Jay and pushed him to the ground. "Jay!" Alex screamed. The giant spider hissed and prepared to bite Jay in the cheast, but Jay reached his hand out and gave a terribly strong punch, and then he flippped up and landed on his feet, twisting around and then kicking the spider. The giant spider jumped at Jay's face. He ducked down, dodging it and then he flipped, kicking the spider right when he landed. The spider went scurrying into the forest. "Come!" Alex shouted. He lead Jay out of the forest. The two sat on a bench along the now clear path that head out of the grassy field and into a desert. Alex stared at Jay. "What?" Jay finally asked. "Are you aware of how you just fought that spider back there?" Alex asked. Jay sighed. "Yeah, I guess." Alex laughed a bit. "Man, Creepwalk really imagined you." Jay stood up. "I don't really liek the whole idea that I belong to him!" You could here the rage in Jay's voice. "Whoa, calm down buddy." Alex said, standing up. "And where is my mom, she wa sin the house too!" Alex rolled his eyes. "Your mother didn't see or feel the portal, she saw the illusion of you walking out the front door oaky?" Jay rolled his eyes in extreme annoyance. "Listen, NOBODY OWNS ME!" Jay screamed. Suddenly Alex's face looked worried and he stood up. Alex handed Jay a long, thick, blue. "Fight them Jay." Alex said. "What?" Jay asked. But Alex didn't need to answer, because as Jay turned to look, a group of men came charging at them with swords. They had black masks over their face with only two holes for their eyes. "GOOO!" Alex screamed with his own red colored sword. They ran at the black-masked men. The cling of the swords banging together gave Jay's legs a weak shaky feeling and his vision got blurry as all of the masked men ran around swinging their swords. Jay fought as hard as he could though. He slashed his sword right through one man and a blue light flashed out of his body. "AGH!" Came screams all around. Jay's heart thumped a thick blood of fear. He became diizy but continued to fight. Swords slashed right by his face and the stomping of all the men was loud as thunder. Jay jumped high into the air and did a stomach-turning front flip, and then pointed his sword down as he slammed into the ground and a flash of blue went out in all directions, knocking them all down. Thunder crashe dabove a sit began to pour rain. "ALEX ARE YOU OKAY?" Jay screamed over the clashing swords and screaming and pounding rain and thunder. "I'm fine!" Alex shouted back. Alex slashed each of the men one by one with deep anger raging in his heart. One masked man reached his hands up and shot a ball of fire at Alex. In a sudden panic Jay swiftly moved his sword in front of Alex. The ball of fire bounced of Jay's sword and slammed into the man. There were only two men left. Alex slashed his sword into ones face and Jay stabbed the other in the cheast. Jay put his sword in the sword holder Alex gave him. The two stared silently at all the dead bodies as the rain poured over them. A tear dripped out from Jay's eyes. "That didn't feel good Alex!" He shouted over the rain. Alex stared, with nothing to say. Suddenly there was a crash of thunder and the two swiftly turned around to see a tall man with a pure black face and pure white eyes. "It is I, Shadow." Alex snarled at him. "Who is that?" Jay whispered. Alex had a look of rage on his face. "He is the man that feeds on the souls of innocent children. Jay stared deep into the man's pure white eyes. "I see that you have come. I'm sure that Creepwalk will enjoy killing you ever so slowly." Came the man's scratchy voice. "SHUT UP!" Jay screamed. The man threw a blade at him. Alex slashed the blade into the ground with his sword. "You better leave Blood." Blood stared deeply into Jay's eyes and Jay breathed hard, scared for his life. "I won't kill you, because I know Creepwalk will." The man then vanished into thin air. Jay put his sword into his sword-holder on his waist. and stared down at the wet grass, letting the rain pour on him like he was mud. Alex looked at Jay and felt deeply terrible. "I wish you weren't a Created, Jay... but you are." Jay looked up at Alex and wiped away his tears. "There is this girl in the earth world that is named Natalie... I love her more than anything... but she deserves somebody who wasn't created by a villian. Alex growled at Jay. "It's not your fault he created you Jay, but you gotta live with it... live life to the fullest since you ARE alive." Jay nodded his head. "It's just so hard to think about." A crash of thunder crashed above and the rain poured harder. "What now?" Alex thought a moment. "Grab my hand." Alex said. Jay grabbed Alex's hand and they fell through the ground, falling in pure darkness. "WHAT'S HAPPENING?!" Jay screamed. "WE ARE GOING SOMEWHERE!" Alex yelled. They fell and fell and finally thumped into a sandy ground. It was night time here. There were tents all around. Alex finally saw an empty tent. "Get in that one I'll be right there." Alex pointed to the tent. Jay nodded and crawled into the tent. He stood there in the dark to think about his past. His feet were cold in the dark sand. "I miss you Ai." He whispered. "Who's Ai?" Came Jay's voice from behind. "I told you to stay in the tent." Alex growled. "I'm sorry. It's none of my buisness anyway." Jay said. There was a long silence as Jay made his way back. "Well do you want to know?" Alex asked. Jay nodded. "Ok." Alex signaled Jay to follow him. They walked a distanse from the tents and sat in the sand. "There was a girl named Ai. She was the only one here that really understood me." Alex's voice was almost whispering. "She was kidnapped by Kane... he wanted to get to me so he threatened to kill her if I didn't come save her. I didn't believe that he had her so I didn't go and..." Jay suddenly felt a terrible saddness take over his heart. "I'm so sorry-" Alex sighed. "I'm sick of hearing that... it was my fault." Jay sat in total silence. "Listen Jay, I know what happened today was pretty terrible for you." Alex said. Jay sighed. "I just hated killing men like that Alex." Alex nodded. "Those weren't men Jay, those were monsters." "You know what I mean." Jay said. Alex nodded in extreme agreement. "I remember the first time I fought those guys, they're called coldhearts. Jay, they were born with an urge to kill." Jay stood up. "I wish I could-" Suddenly a bright light flashed across the sky and something slammed into the ground and the sand flew right into Jay and Alex's faces. Jay spat out the sand and wiped his face. A girl slowly pulled herself up. "She must have come through the portal." Alex said. Suddenly Jay gasped. "Natalie?" He nearly shouted. Natalie stood up. "Jay? Where am I?" Jay sighed. They lead Natalie to the tent and Alex helped him as they explained everything to Natalie in the tent. Her reaction was quite fearful. "This is an entirely different world?" Natalie asked one more time. Jay zipped the tent closed to muffle the noise. "Yeah." He said. "Then what are you doing here Jay?" Natalie asked. Jay sighed. "I- I don't know." Jay didn't want Natalie to know he was just some evil man's character. Alex cleared his throat. "I know a very nice castle for you to stay at while Jay and I look for these men." Alex said. "You know what Alex, I just want to go home." Jay said. "Didn't I tell you?" Alex asked. "Tell me what?" Jay demanded. "Well we have to get passed Creepwalk if you want to open the portal to go home, then we will get Natalie and you can go home, you will never have to be here ever again." Jay grinned. "Okay." Natalie slipped under a blanket. "May I blow out the candle?" Natalie asked. Jay slipped under his blankets as well as Alex. Natalie blew out the candle and they all fell asleep rather quickly, except Natalie. She was up thinking about amny things. It was shocking to her that a white light just sucked her up into the sky and fell into a sandy desert. She soon fell into a deep sleep as well though. The sunrise the next morning woke all three at nearly the same time. Natalie yawned. "When do we leave?" "Hold on, I need to talk to Alex." Jay said. "Ok." Natalie yawned. Jay dragged Alex outside of the tent. "Why did the portal bring her here?" Jay whispered. "I have no idea." Alex said. "Does Creepwalk know that I am here? Do you think he plans on taking Natalie?" Jay whispered. Alex thought for a moment. "That could be." He said in a nervous voice. Jay rubbed the angry look off his face. "Well this castle better be darn safe." Jay said. The two crawled back into the tent to find that Natalie was gone. "GUYS HELP!" Came Natalie's voice outside the tent. Jay's heart suddenly pounded a sif he had been running for hours, in an almost automatic reflex he jumped out of the tent. One of the masked men was pullin Natalie into the sand. "STOP!" Jay screamed in anger. Natalie was in terrified tears. She reached her arm out as the man pulled her deeper into the sand. Jay grabbed her hand but the man was too strong. "Jay don't let him take me please!" Natalie's voice was filled with terror. The sand was at her neck now. "JAY!" She yelped. Jay pulled and pulled with his sweaty hands but he slipped off and slammed into the sand with a crushing pain. Suddenly Natalie's head was under the sand and only her hand was sticking out. Jay tried to dig down but she was moving down too fast. "NO!" Jay screamed. Finally Natalie's fingers dissapeared into the sand. Jay dug and dug but she was gone. He suddenly turned to Alex, panting in anger. "Where did he take her? WHERE!?" Alex's eyes were narrowed at the spot where Natalie once was. "He went through a mini-portal. It most likely connects to a different part in the magic kingdom. He took her to a different place. Jay suddenly stood still in terrible worry. "You mean like... Creepwalk's Castle?" Jay said very quietly. Alex bit his lip for a moment, not wanting to tell Jay what he already knew. "Yeah." Alex said in a small voice. Jay suddenly paniced and dug through the sand. "What, why can't we go through?" "The portal closed now. We must go by foot." Alex said. Jay nodded. "NO! You made a portal last night to come here!" Alex sighed. "But that was for a very short distance. And I didn't MAKE it, it found us. Portals aren't something you create you are lucky to find them... but they have a machine to control that." Jay finally lifted himself off his knees. "The magic kingdom is full of many regions Jay, we can't just guess she's in Creepwalk's castle." Suddenly a strong wind began to lift the sand off the ground and blow into the two's faces. "IT'S A PORTAL! JUMP AS HIGH AS YOU CAN!" Alex screamed. With all their strength they jumped high up and the powerful wind whisked them away. Jay squeazed his eyes closed in fear that he was flying helplessly with the wind high above the sand. They twisted in loops and turned and curved and finally landed on a floor made of diamonds. Jay wiped the sand off his pants and brought himself dizzily back to his feet. Alex stood with ease. "Do you do that often?" Jay asked. Alex chuckled. "You don't even know." "Where are we?" Jay asked. Suddenly two men grabbed them and dragged them into a stone hallway. "Let go!" Jay yelped. He struggled with all his might to break free but these men were too strong. Their hoods cast a black shadow over their faces. "HEY!" Alex yelped. "Where are you taking us!?" Jay demanded. The two men opened a large door and threw the two boys through it. Suddnely aches and pains shot through they're bones as they went tumbling down a wooden staircase. The stairs cracked their joints and seemed to bruise their skin immedeately. They then crushed with a burst of pain that created a terrible headache onto a muddy floor. Jay stood up, helping Alex up for he fell worse. Alex looked around. There was a floor made of thick mud and stone walls. "We're in a dungeon." Alex said. Jay sighed. "How do we get out?" He asked. Alex stared deeply into a hole in the wall. "We don't." Suddenly a large wolf crawled out. It had orange fur and a blood-filled mouth. It suddnely jumped on Alex, pushing him into the mud. "GET OFF HIM!" Jay screamed in panic. He kicked the wolf in the side and the flipped over it, punching it in the head and then sliding under it to punch its cheast. The wolf snapped its teeth over and over, getting closer to Jay. Alex jumped up despite his body crushing pain and jumped on the wolves back. Jay punched the wolve's chin, not even thinking, just fighting with natural instinct. Jay felt a small sympathy though for he loved canines, but this was too vicious so he had to ignore his sadness. Jay finally scared the wolf back into the huge hole in the wall. "What was that?" Alex said, breathing fast. "I don't know but we need to get out of here." Jay panted. Suddenly the large door up the wooden staircase opened and the two men came walking slowly down. Jay pulled his thick silver/blue sword out of the holder on his waist, his heart punding. Alex slowly took out his with much nervousness. The men walked slowly down and finally reached the mud floor. "We are not here to fight." One whispered. The other approached Jay. "You have amazing fighting skills." He whispered. Jay lifted his sword. "Do you want to find out?" Jay asked. The man chuckled. "Quite some humour too." He said, walking away. Alex put his sword away. Jay followed that move. "So, what do you want from us?" Alex demanded. "We want you to meet somebody." The men said. They began walking up the staircase. Jay and Alex followed nervously. They walked down the stone hall and up a twirling wooden staircase. Finally the two men let them in a round-shaped room with metal walls and flooring. They stared at the back of a leather chair, and then it turned. "Oh hello Alex." Came the voice. Alex suddenly was paralyzed in fear. "Who are you?" Jay asked in a fearful voice. "Well I am Kane." The man said. Jay suddenly was paralyzed as well. His fingers twitched and his jaw dropped. "I finally have you Alex." The man said in a terribly evil tone. "Take the boy out for a moment. I'd like to speak with Alex." Kane said. Jay reluctantly left with the two and they walked down to the room made of diamond. "What are they doing?" Jay demanded. The men would not speak. Meanwhile in Kane's room, Kane stood up and approached Alex slowly. "It is time to die Alex, just as Ai did." Alex pulled out his sword but it fell onto the floor as Kane threw him into the ceiling. Then another burst of pain shot threw him as he fell onto Kane's desk. Kane grabbed Alex's leg and twisted it all the way around. Alex gasped for air as his leg bone snapped in two. Jay still knew nothing of what was going on. Alex dragged himself across the room, reaching for the his sword. Kane lifted it up. Alex lay on the floor, helpless. He could barely speak in his stomach-turning fear. Suddenly he screamed as loud as he ever had as Kane slammed Alex's entire bruised body into the metal wall, and then his head into the metal floor. Jay heard these screams from downstairs. He suddenly knew he had to get up their. Quickly, Jay pulled out his blade and slashed it through one man, but the other was ready with his needle-covered whip. He slashed the whip at Jay, but Jay dodged it, swiping his sword at the man but stumbling to the gorund in a miss. The man lifted his nail covered whip while upstairs Alex finally grabbed his sword from Kane and slashed it at him, but missed. Alex hopped across the room on his still working leg. Kane threw a ball of fire at Alex's stomach. Alex dropped his sword and fell to the ground in a scream of pain. Meanwhile, Jay struggled up, dodging the needle covered whip. He heard Alex screaming and had to get upstairs. Jay felt he was running out of time. He kicked the man's leg causing him to trip and the battle came out into the stone hall. Still in the metal room the other fight also continued. "I CREATED YOU AND YOU BETRAYED ME! SO NOW YOU DIE! And your little friend will surely make it to Creepwalk don't worry!" Kane barked. He grabbed Alex's sword and slammed it into the metal floor. The ring of the metal made Alex's heart skip a beat. "ARE YOU READY TO DIE!?" Kane screamed. Jay tried as quickly in the hall as he could. He finally slashed his sword into the man's head and the man fell to the floor. Jay clutched his blade tightly and ran up the twirling wooden staircase, closer to Alex's screams. Kane lifted the sword, ready to kill Alex. Jay ran up the stairs as fast as he could. Kane quickly began to bring down the sword while Jay ran and ran panting in worry as the sword came closer and closer to Alex by the second. The sword was just about to cut into Alex but Alex rolled across the room and Kane missed. Alex was too hurt to dodge this time, so Kane lifted the sword once more, and brought it down. Just as the sword was about to bring Alex's life to an end Jay burst through the metal door and slashed his sword right into Kane's stomach. Kane dropped the red sword right by Alex, and he jumped through the window, vanishing. Jay put his sword away. Kane wasn't dead but he was gone for now. "Oh no, Alex." Jay whispered. He grabbed Alex's hand and lifted him up. "He broke my leg, and I've got bruises all over." Alex groaned. Jay wrapped Alex's arm over his shoulder's as Alex limped down the staircase with Jay. Alex needed a doctor quick. Jay set Alex down in a chair in the stone hallway. "I'm going to find help, stay here okay?" Jay said. "Yeah, just HURRY!" Alex moaned. Jay burst out of the castles two front doors and stumbled down into a deep hole for there was no ground just space. He screamed at first but realized it was portal. That castle must have been so secret it was its own region. Jay fell out of the portal and into a busy vilallage that was at noon time. The portal stayed open. "I NEED A DOCTOR!" Jay screamed. Almost automatically a man came up to Jay from the crowd with a worried face. "I'm a doctor, what is it?" "Please come through the portal!" Jay pleaded. "Oh no, that leads to the torture castle... no way." The doctor denied. "PLEASE! ALL OF THE MEN THAT WERE THERE ARE GONE, MY FRIEND IS HURT!" The doctor stared at the now closing portal. "Please!" Jay shouted as it closed. "Okay!" The doctor answered. Jay grabbed the man's hand and pulled him up into the portal. They stumbled through the doors and into the castle just as the portal closed in the village. Jay immediately took the doctor to Alex. Alex's eyes were closed. The doctor checked for a pulse. "He's still alive, heart rate is quite high." The doctor said. He felt his hands on Alex's legs. "He broke his leg badly." The doctor announced. Then the doctor felt around his cheast. "His lungs are fine." The doctor said. But he paniced as the breathing slowed. The doctor lifted Alex's eyelid and examined his pupil. "Oh dear." The doctor said. "WHAT?" Jay screamed. The doctor felt for a pulse once more. It was too rapid though. "Your friend stopped breathing!" The dopctor shouted. He move Alex onto the floor and began CPR. Jay stood there in fear. He now thought about it and knew that he was losing one of his greatest friends he had ever made. Alex had stood by Jay through all of the fights, and he ha dprotected Jay... and now was the first time Jay asked... why? Why did Alex protect him. He wouldn't have let Jay die, and Jay couldn't do anything to save Alex now. He just stared as the doctor continued CPR. Jay understood now. Alex said that there wasn't many people like him. That ha dbeen created by evil, but turned good. And Jay knew how it felt... and Alex finally had somebody who could understand that feeling... the feeling that you weren't your own person... the feeling that somebody owned you. And finally Jay snapped out of all of these thoughts as Alex began coughing. He gasped in a breath and Jay ran up. The doctor stared with caution. Alex slowly opened his eyes. The doctor grabbed Alex. "We should jump through the portal, the village has a hospital." The doctor said. Jay jumped out first, just in case Alex fell. Then the doctor jumped out, landing with Alex still in his grip. The two ran to a small wooden building all the way down the road. There were three empty beds in the room and the doctor set Jay on the middle one. Jay just watched as the doctor felt along Alex's leg. Alex was uncautios. The doctor pushed the bone back into place in the leg. It was still broke, but it would heal faster now. The doctor wrapped a cast onto Alex's leg and then stitched up two of his cuts. One on his head and one on his arm. Jay sat there all night waiting for Alex to wake up. Just as the sun started to rise, Alex slowly opened his eyes. Jay was drifting oof, but he woke quickly as he heard Alex groan. "Jay, you awake?" Alex asked in his weak voice. Jay nodded. "Yeah, yeah I'm awake." Alex groaned once more. "Jay, if you hadn't fought those men, I'd be dead." Jay grinned. "Well you're alive." Jay said. Alex sighed. "Well we have to leave soon." Jay nodded. "No way Alex." Jay said. "You need to recover." Alex frowned. "Then what are you going to do?" Alex asked. "I have to go on my own." Jay said.
