Friends and Non-Friends are welcome to read this.

So, I haven't written for a very long time. I actually don't remember the last time I posted something, and I am here to ask for everyone's help.1

I have had a very difficult writers block (Other than my journals on AllJournal.com but still i am having difficulties) for a few months now, and I would really appreciate everyone who is interested in helping me to give me a topic to write a story.2

If so, read below. If not, then its fine, thank you anyways 3

What i am looking for is..4

- Full out novel. Not a short story, monologue, etc. 5

- Teen/Young Adult6

Topics I like writing about...?7

- Horses (Like, horseback riding. Not horse competitions or anything please. Just like, living in/near a stable or around horses lol)8

- Mystical Creatures (This includes; Unicorns, fairies, Elves, Giants, Pixies. Nothing around the lines of Dragons, angels, etc please)9

- Real life Issues (friends, school, drinking, Family issues, and abuse, Death/Thoughts of Suicide, and Cutting. Please not drugs if you can)10

I refuse to write anything about Vampires, and there should be no sex in my stories (this is directed at the last option). 11

I'm sorry if i am being picky, just I want to be sure you understand lol.12

**** I would really appreciate if all of you help me with this, it is very important to me that I start writing again!****13

Thank you so much14

Love, ForgottenVoice xoxoxoxoxo

    I'll Help

Well I write Fantasy and I love to make up creatures and particularly good at making up names, very unique names. I could help if you ask for something specific.

Well I mostly write vampire stories but I did one fairy story called Kylira. It's not here so don't bother looking. But if you're in teh reading mood, then I could workon gettign it up here if you like. It has a fight scene in it though and her father is a demon, Just let me know. If your looking for plot ideas and you write romance then you could write a story where there's a romance between two of the speciaes you listed (A fairy falling for an elf perhaps, though I'm thinking of the fairies that are the size of humans or small humans)

I find that current events give inspiration for new stories. It could be politics, the latest murder (plenty of those) or even celebrity bs.
That said, here's something for you to have a go with.
Why don't you write about a rockstar who goes missing? He is a big star, but one day he is gone? No clues, nothing. The possibilities with this story are endless. Have a go, and I'll be waiting with a kind review, Rorshach.

  • i think you should write something totally different.
something that's different from any book thats our there..

I think you should write a magical story and a mixture of horror and abuse. Stuff like that and you can add some stuff to it and take some stuff away. I don't really care what you do with my ideas you can use other people's information if you want. By the way my friend narniakid is laughing in my ear as I write this.

Thats just terriable having a writers block. You could start out wit a daily journal and vent your self ideas for dtories you have a good start you just have to beging with a topic then write ideas for that topic and characters names that would fit the topic and a character descriptiton. Anything would help get over that writers block. You have lots of good ideas just sit in a quiet room doing nothing computer screen off. Music off you need complete silence with no distractions. All you need is a pen and a pad of paper begin righting down your ideas and adding information to those ideas. Sometimes writers block takes up to months to get over. And by the way your not forgotten once you get your great ideas out there you'll have great stories. Also you could begin with poetry. Its a very helpful topic. Also you can write songs those help also.

    Hope I helped you out

  • Seems you could combine your horse and unicorn options somehow. Perhaps something along the lines of a deformed unicorn that is rejected by all because he has no horn. You could actually combine all your options.

A real life girl who is a little out of the ordinary because of, say her creative nature. Perhaps her peers try to pressure her into situations she is not ready for and maybe she has a homelife that includes a sibling with a drinking problem. Her escape is writing a story about a misfit unicorn.

Would be cool to weave the two stories together so that when she escapes into her creation, it seems real.

    Eh, just some thoughts.

Writer's block is a terrible thing. I recommend you don't start off with a novel though. Maybe just look around a few contests on here to get started. Sometimes great things come from just looking at the options.
Believe me, even though it may seem like a good idea asking for a plot, it's not.
Because then you won't be writing your own work. It will be someone elses and that's not going to get you over your writers block at all.

Just plug in your favorite songs and open miscrosoft word. Tune out everything else and just start writing, even if it's nonsense. Sometimes great things come out of it.

    Okay, so here's one...

A bipolar elf princess gets sick of the meds she's been prescribed, and how numb they make her feel, so she runs away from her castle where her father, the King, beat her anyhow.

On her second or third day out she starts to feel life again, and all the joys and horrors associated with it, meets some sort of love interest who either ends up traveling with her, or gets taken away from her and she goes to find him.

After a while, she gets all depressed and there's some really emo scene where she cuts herself over an enchanted lake and the blood dripping into the water creates a vision of some sort.

And then she ends up living happily ever after. Seems like a decent premise to work from. More stuff happens in between.

    • haha. Wow, actually I really like that. I will defiantly keep that in mind.
      Thank you very much
