Is anybody else a little P.O.ed about the last couple of chapters with new Sharingan rules? It was one thing when it just helped the user predict movement, it first got on my nerves when Itachi was first introduced and he was so ungodly powerful because of what I like to call the “genjutsu loophole.” This where Itachi just has to look at you to mess you up, and they go through this whole elaborate sequence, just for them you tell you it was just an illusion (this has been prominently featured in the last couple of chapters). On top of that apparently the Sharingan lets the user see invisible chakra to the naked eye, visible, because the Sharingan gives color to invisible chakra (a nice little loop hole Sasuke used to defeat Deidara even tho he didn't realy defeat him and Deidara killed himself). 2
All of that pales in comparison to the new rules laid out in Chapter 386; the Mangekyou Sharingan couldn’t have weakness like every other jutsu and technique, oh, no we need to make it all powerful. Personally I thought it was a great twist, that the Mangekyou Sharingan for all of its fantastic and over exaggerated powers had the drawback of making the user slowly go blind. What irony that the ultra powerful vision based jutsu one can’t use unless they have the Mangekyou Sharingan caused the user to go blind. In essence the user is blinded by power. But no we need a loop hole, if a user of the Mangekyou Sharingan plucks out his brothers eyes who also has the Mangekyou Sharingan, then he can fuse their eyes together and not only will he awaken new more powerful set of eyes which allowed him to see the light once again, it will also grant him immortality! WTF! How the hell does that work?! 3
Let’s examine what this is bull, not only can I predict your every movement, I can defeat you without even touching you by trapping you I a super powerful mind*bunny*. The only weakness I have is that Mangekyou Sharingan that makes me so powerful is slowly making me blind. But I can totally nullify this single weakness by plucking out my brothers eye who also has the Mangekyou Sharingan and somehow fusing them with my own; I now have received better eye sight, gained even more power and I’ am immortal. Do you not see the problem with this picture? The only thing I can relate it to is in DBZ (and it is the reason I stopped watching DBZ), in the Cell games after Goku teleports Cell away, and Cell self-destructs, Cell comes back in his perfect form because he was able to regenerate himself from a single cell. That is the type of bull Kishimoto is treading on with this last chapter. I know a lot of you will disagree and my in-box will soon be stuffed with reasons saying why I am a dumb-*bunny* and or how I’ am over reacting, regardless I just had to put this out there and get it off my chest.
