blind assasin chapter 5: akatsuki

saskue said he wouldnt be gone for long, but he was. two and a half years passed without as much as a note or any message from him. naruto tried to go and get him back once, but saskue had grown very strong and intelligent. i didnt care, i still hated him. with saskue gone people teased me again, but i got more friends. 2

sakura and i grew very close, as well as me and naruto and kakashi, but i also made friends with ino, hinata(very shy girl with a crush on naruto), and all the rest of the leaf village chunin and genin. naruto left for those two-and-a-half years with jariyah to get stronger and get saskue back. meanwhile, we got a new team member, sai. he was a boy with a skill to draw and very pale. anywayz, naruto came back and all was normal.....kinda.3

i walked with the girls down the street, going to the ramen shop for lunch like always. i had my sharingan on(wich i had finally mastered) and was enjoying the atmoshere. everyone was happy and joyful, even the hokage went out for a walk today. when we finally got to the ramen shop, tsunade joined us and we all ate and gossiped about news in the village. i was happy, and i hadnt been happy in awhile.4

"so, Oni-chan, i have a mission for you to go to the land of wood and get a note for me from a man named Mushino Hangasa. if you could to after you eat you'll be back by tomorrow evening." tsunade said as i finished my ramen.
"no problem, hokage-senpai, ill go right now."i said, and i hopped of the stool and i ran off, prepared to take on anouther solo mission.

the land of wood wasnt pretty, but i wasnt ugly, either. almost everything was made out of lumber, including the school and houses. i asked around for the man, Mushino, and people kindly pointed the way for me. i was about to knock on his front door when i heard a defening BOOM! i jumped back as the house exploded and a man on a giant bird came swooping down in front of me, laughing and pulling out a clay bird. he threw i to the other side of the village and it exploded maginificently, making me understand he was very bad.6

i noticed his cloak and immediatly recognized it. it was an akatsuki cloak, a warning had been sent out last week of the akatsuki describing their robes and actions. the man on the bird looked feminin, but cute with his school-boy face and long blond hair in a pony tail. i watched as he flew over the remains of the house and signaled for anouther man in a cloak to get the body. this man had red hair and a bored expression.7

he picked up the body of my client and looked over at me, but i stood my ground and calmly pulled out a kunai. the man threw the corps up onto the others bird-thingy and walked over to me.
"who are you to think you can pull a kunai on an akatsuki and live?" he asked me. i flipped him off and said,
"Oni, Oni Uchiha." and i stabbed at him with the kunai, but i noticed he dodged and jumped to my right. a peice of his skin was on the ground, but there was no blood.8

i picked up the skin, but it was hard and rough. wood, the man was a puppet! i spun around and blocked a punch just in time, but all of a sudden the blondie was on the ground and advancing on me.
"sasori-senpai, i got it from here." the man called. sasori jumped back as the other man came twords me, kunai drawn.
"careful, deidara, she's an uchiha." sasori called, and i saw the surprised expression on deidara's face.9

"uchiha, huh?" he said, only about a foot away.
"well, allow me to show you just how weak you are." he ran at me and stabbed in what would have been my heart, but it wasnt there. i faked being hurt and i staggered backwards, holding onto the kunai yet feeling no pain.
"hehe, she'll be dead in a few minuets, i got her heart." deidara bragged, but i looked up at him and smiled, straightening up.10

"oh, sorry, it doesnt hurt. was it supposed to?" i asked, his expression changing to shock. i laughed and pulled out the kunai and threw it at him with such speed even naruto wouldnt beleive it. it hit his arm, but he recovered fast and threw the kunai aside. he pulled out anouther one of his bombs, but i knew i couldnt stand a fight with that. i dissapeared in a puff of smoke and reapeared in a forest. 11

'i'll heal your shoulder, my lady' the demon said, and the wound went away. 'it was were my heart would be, demon, but thanks' i said back to it, and i started to walk until i realized i was going the wrong direction.
"fuck, were am i going now?" i voiced to myself.
"straight to hell, little kid." i heard deidara say behind me.12

i spun around, but my chakara wouldnt hold the sharingan and it dissapeared, making me blind again.
"ah, so i see your blind without sharingan, huh? interesting." sasori said to my left. i backed away into further darkness, but i felt a hand grab my arm and a kunai blade knock me uncouncious.13

i tried not to moan, but when i woke up i had a major headach. i didnt even know were i was, but i did know it was stone an i was sitting up against a wall to wich i was chained. i tried to move my arms, but i could only straighten them in front of me, no more slack after that. 'great' i thought, 'now what'. i was still blind, and i knew my chakara wasnt gonna hold my sharingan.15

i pulled myself into a crosslegged sitting position and tried to listen for any sign of movement. nothing, wich ment i was alone, and i tapped my hand on the ground and it echoed deeply, telling me i was in a somewhat large room of stone. probably a prisoners room. and i was the prisoner. fuck.16

i heard a door slide open and an unfamiliar voice say,
"in here, there." the voice was gruff. anouther person walked in and i felt a strange familiarness to the chakara. the door slid shut and the other person walked up to me, kneeling down infront of me. i couldnt feel the gruff voiced persons chakara, so it was only me and this persone infront of me.
"who are you?" i asked angerly, but i felt for my kunai pouch and it was gone.17

there was a silence, then,
"your still blind, huh Oni-chan?" i froze, then i grew angrier than hell.
"itachi." i growled.
