As I leave the shelter i was in, a shadow encloses around me. I walk into the sunlight as dark clouds cover the sky, I look up as it starts to rain I tilt my head all the way back as the rain starts to pour. The rain comes to an end and I look around me as flowers start to bloom, I smile at the site of this and the shadow frees me.

you could have separated every line and tried to form a more structured poem...
