To the guy who is always there

Hey! I think the name of my piece to you explains pretty much everything but I just want to tell you some stuff Hun. Basically I'm apologising to you, thanking you, and other things too. So...1

In the past 9 months alot has happened. Throughout the many times i messed up, you forgave me, something I never thought you would do. I messed things up with your mates, with us, with her, but still I never lost you. That shows what a true mate you are, for you to have been able to forgive me when I have done things I know you truly hate.2

So now I am apologising for the way I messed up, I am truly sorry and you know how much you mean to me hunni (as mate), how much I would hate to lose you (as mate), how much I hate the thought of ever losing you in the past (as mate) and how much I value the face that you stayed with me when I know after what I did some of those times, other people could not have forgiven but you did and for that I am truly happy.3

In the past 9 months alot has happened. Yes, I know you upset me when we went out, and even when we didn't, BUT you were always there for me when someone else hurt me, when I was feeling down or even when I was upset because of my feelings for you. I could see you wanted me to get over you but if my feelings made me upset, you would still listen and make me feel better. I have always been able to trust you, always known you will be there for me, always known to go to you when I'm down.4

So now I'm thanking you for helping me feel better, making me smile, making me feel good about myself. I value everything you have done for me, and I really am truly grateful and happy to have a friend like you. Your the mate everyone wants.5

In the past 9 months alot has happened. At first it felt weird with you being 3 years older than me but now I know I shouldn't have, the age gap made no difference to what a mate you are. There was one difference though, apart from you being more mature than me, you were taking your GCSE's, something I won't be doing for another 3 years, but you still manages to find time for me, find time to listen to my winging, to my moaning, to my feelings. After me knowing you for about 6 months, you took your GCSE's. Now after 9 months of being close mates you got your results, results I know your happy with, results you know I'm happy for you with.6

So now I'm saying congratulations on passing all your GCSE's and even if you didn't get the grades you wanted in some subjects, you did great and you should be really pleased!7

I could write alot more here, I could thank you for alot more, apologise for alot more, etc... But really I think this is all I need to write, all I need to think about in our relationship as going out and as mates to make me notice how good of a friend you are and how stupid I would be to throw it all away. So thanks huni for always being there for me and always being the guy I could trust! Your a great mate and I would hate to lose you! Thanks! x x x x8
