Spiritheart: Rise of the Dormant Prologue

Spiritheart:Rise of the Dormant1

Prologue2

The Dreamer looked out upon the world in disdain. It was so... ugly. The world of Valmera was entirely unattractive. The people stole, killed, raped, lied, and felt nothing. How could something designed by the Allmighty, who was the omnipotetent being that created Valmera, have gone so entirely wrong?3

The Dreamer wouldn't have made that mistake. No, The Dreamer's world would be perfect. It was all figured out. Every last detail, down to the smallest pebble was accounted for. All that was needed was time. All in good time.4

The Dreamer only wanted the best for Valmera, really. It wasn't much to ask for, a chance to improve things? After all, The Dreamer had felt the people's suffering, their pain.5

All The Dreamer wanted was what was fair. Of course, not everyone would be on the good end of 'fair.' Some people, the thieves, murderers, rapists, liars, they would be left out of The Dreamer's world. In The Dreamer's mind, they had made their choices, and now they would have to live with them.6

Some of these people were The Dreamer's own friends. The Dreamer was very close to them, but someone would have to watch the ruins, to guide those left behind. Who better to do it than those that were most trusted?7

It would be hard for some people to accept, The Dreamer knew that, too. That was another reason for The Dreamer's friends to be left behind. They simply wouldn't be able to handle it. They would ruin everything.8

The Dreamer would not have that. No, everything would be perfect. Maybe not at first, as there would be a terrible resistence. Maybe even a war. But no change is easy to accept. Over time, things would settle down, and The Dreamer would live in peace and prosperity with The Chosen.9

However, The Dreamer also knew that worlds are not easy to create. What little power The Dreamer had now would not be enough to create a world. That was why time was needed. Time to gather more power. The Dreamer was far-seeing, and could confidently predict every move that would be made to gather this power. And no one would even know. All that was needed was a little nudge here, a suggestion there. The Dreamer knew, better than anyone, that situations are as easily manipulated as the people in them.10

The Dreamer sighed in content. It would all be so perfect. And it would start that very evening. Yes, at the moment the sun sank below the horizon, giving its farewells to the moon as it rose on the opposite horizon, it would begin.11

The Dreamer began to cast the spell. Soon the ugly world would slip away. All in time.

Author notes

Yes, I know I haven't written anything in forever, so here you go. It may be short, but it's better than nothing, right? Somehow, I don't think you agree.

Pretty interesting. Seems like a great start to a fantasy novel. A villain with morals. Reminds me of the Death Note. Perfect World

Good job, only thing I can think of is that the first three paragraphs flow worse than the others. not entirely sure why. but you still get full clappies

This was short but it was good, but is the dreamer a good or bad person I can't tell. This is very deep and some might take the Dreamer as an evil person for manipulating everyone. But at the same time The Dreamer seems good because all they want is a perfect world scraches head confused very thought provoking.
