The Life and Times of Jayden Sanders

"Mother fuckin' door." I said, standing in the cool. Wouldn't care so much if it wasn't freezing, but it was winter and my door had failed me again. It's not like I had a roommate or girlfriend to let me in because I just threw my ex out. My nose was bright red and all I wanted was a cold beer to drink. Losing patience, I rammed my shoulder against the door, busting into my own house.
"Finally..." I mumbled. I walked in and grabbed my beer. Relief. I sat down on the couch, pulling my phone and car keys outta my pocket and tossing them on the coffee table. l leaned back against the couch and started to relax. It was time for unwinding and hopefully no one would call me. Just wanna smoke a bowl and then take a few drags off a cigarette before showering. As I begin to pack my bowl, my phone starts to vibrate against the table. I pick it up and who is it? Of course, Dawn. Great... That fucking bitch. Reluctantly, I picked it up.
"What?" I asked, impatiently.
"Hey Jayden." Dawn said, perkily.
"What do you want, Dawn?"
"Can I swing by?"
"For?"
"The usual."
"Okay, bye." I said, hanging up. I had to get up and walk to my bedroom to bag her shit up. Fucking bitch always calls me in my personal time. After getting her shit weighed and bagged, I walked back out to my living room, waiting as patiently as possible on the couch. The whole reason I broke up with that bitch was so she'd stop calling me... Apparently, she's not getting the message. She's lucky I can always use the money, or I'd tell that fucking bitch to leave me alone. A knock at the door, finally.
"Come in." I said from my couch. The door opened and that bitch walked in.
"Hey stranger." She said, smiling. Wow....
"Hey, close the door. You're letting the warm out." I said, sitting up. She shut it and then sat next to me on the couch.
"How was work?" She asked, still smiling. Her happiness was killing me.
"It was work. The same as any other day." I said, before hitting the bowl. Her smile was quickly fading.. Thank God...
"Here's your shit." I say, handing her the bag.
"Thanks" she said, handing me the money in exchange. We sat quietly and passed my bowl back and forth. She was probably thinking. Her eyes always wandered when she was thinking... She knew she did something wrong. Things were never this quiet when my other exes stopped by. This bitch was starting to regret cheating on me. And then.. She gave up.
"Well I guess it's time for me to go.." She said, standing up.
"Alright, lock my door on your way out." I said throwing my beer can out. She locked the door then shut it behind her. Finally... Alone... I light up a cigarette and sit, flipping through the channels on my television. How the hell did I end up here?
