I leave.

I feared your fury — it hurt and harmed my soul. I was young and foolish, and I saw your smirks as smiles and your anger as care and love. But no, no more to that, to the fear that haunted me for years. I will free myself of you and those webs that held me for eternity, as now I am a child no more. There is no love; you showed me it had no existence in this world. I leave you and I leave my fears with you. Now, you remain just a memory that once was true.

I really, and I mean really, liked this piece. I loved the idea of how you toyed of fear and strength and how they can combine to relieve someone's pain.
