When everyone was settled on the train, I began telling my real Father about the life in the orphanage. He listened intently, never interrupting, or stopping me. I felt so free to what I had to say. Everything was finally falling into place with my life. It was all because I was A Simi-Bipolar Girl In An All Vampire Boy's Boarding School. Vence was sitting beside me, his arm around my shoulders. He always listened to me, no matter what I had to say. 1
"Hey Aries! Do you think your brother will wrestle us?" I glanced to Alex, seeing all my friends and brother grinning in my direction. "Sure thing, just take it easy on him, boys," I said, a short giggle coming after. They turned back to their conversations, while Vence squeezed me close. "I can't wait to see your foster parents again, Ari. Now I can tell them that your my daughter. I knew when I joined this family, I'd find something I was looking for." I smiled to Jay, cuddling against Vence. "Tell me about it, my mom's probably going to get all mad and such. Wait, then who were those people trying to get me?" I asked, tilting my head. Jay shrugged his shoulder, looking back out his window.2
I turned my eyes to the sun as it began to rise on the third day we were on the train. I glanced up to Vence's sleeping face. His lips were slightly parted, blowing his sweet apple-breath scent onto my face. I blushed lightly, closing my eyes as I placed a kiss onto his bottom lip. "Mmm, Ari?" He yawned, opened his eyes slightly. I felt my cheeks heat when he touched his nose to mine. "We're almost there, Vence. Sorry if I woke you," I murmured, scanning the others to see if they stirred. I sighed in relief as they stayed sleeping. "Alright . . . Is anyone else awake?"
"No, they're still asleep," I said, smiling. He tilted my chin up with his fingers, kissing my lips gently. 3
When we got off the train, I found out Mom and Dad had sent a limo for all of us to fit in. "Heeey!" Alex covered his ears as Mimi ran up to me, hugging me tightly. Vence had to let go of my waist in order to give Mimi access. I froze up, surprised that she was even talking to me. Maybe she was the Bi-Polar one. "Hello, you must Mimi." My red-head friend backed up a step from me, staring at Jay. "Yes, and you must be 'er Uncle Jay!"
"Um . . . Mimi-"
"It's alright, Ari. Yes, I'm her Uncle Jay. Please to meet you, Mimi." They shook hands, just analyzing one-another. Vence's arm made it's way around my waist, and he pulled me at his side. "I believe I haven't introduced myself either. I am Vence."
"Alex."
"Z!" Mimi's eyes went wide. "Your to weirdos who were on the phone a month ago!" She accused, pointing a finger at Vence. He smiled lightly, shaking her pointed finger. "Yes, that was me, I'm terribly sorry for that as well." She calmed down a bit, only to meet more people. 4
I sighed when she flirted with Z a little. Having a big brother, made you never want ANY other girl near him. It was a protective sixth sense, if you will. "Mimi, let's go," I sighed, heading for the limo. Vence followed me, shrugging his shoulders at the odd glances. "Mmmkay! I drive!" She squealed, running for the driver seat. 5
I once again snuggled into Vence's jacket, surprised that it was warm. "You like being close to me, don't ya?" He chuckled, kissing my forehead. I nodded, slightly closing my eyes. The T.V. facing us was being used for the X-Box on the floor, which the boys gladly took the liberty of playing. 'Dad' must of prepared ahead. Jay was reading a magazine with a glass of his favorite wine. Yeah, they definitely wanted to impress them.6
"Your rich, correct?" Vence whispered, his eyes were sorta glazed over. "Yeah, but it's not as good as you think," I sigh. He poked my nose. "I'm a royal, remember?"
"Oh yeah . . . I guess that part isn't so important to me. I don't really care for titles or cash." I shrugged my shoulders, laying my head against his collarbone. He seemed to captured in my hair that his fingers were caressing softly. 7
As the sun began to set, the boys were all bucket up, snoozing against one-another. Vence, Jay, Mimi, and I were still awake. This time, Jay took the wheel, allowing Mimi to catch up with me a little. When she looked up to see Vence's protective eyes, and my thankful smile, she just was amazed. "So there was a spark!" She chimed quietly, trying not to wake up the others. I blushed lightly, gazing up to Vence. "There was always a spark, we were just too blind to see it," I whispered, allowing my lips to brush against his jaw. 8
Mimi was blushing when Vence captured my lips against his. Maybe she wasn't use to seeing this? "Sorry Mimi," I apologized when Vence let me have air to breathe. "Huh? Oh, no problem, hehe. I use to do that to people."
"You mean me?"
"Yup!" She chuckled to herself, stealing a peak at Z, who's head was against the wall, his lips parted. "Careful on which boundaries you step, Mimi." She looked at me, grinning. "Don't worry, I'm planning on this one boy from Hot Topic." I rolled my eyes. Typical Mimi.
