Walking on the Beach

One day I was walking on the beach and it was early morning and it was a clear day and the sun was shinning. What helped there was a cool breeze. I watched sea gulls flying about and hearing them calling out in hopes that they find there catch of the day. Out in the distance. I see fishing boats. I did not realize. I walked as far as I did. I came to s jetty and what was interesting. It looked like someone made a walking path. I took a chance and walked out on the jetty. The water was calm that day. All of a sudden I heard a dog barking and could not figure out what was going on. I think the dog was trying to get my attention. So I walked back to the beach and the dog came to me. It seemed friendly. So I walked up to the dog and held out my hand and the dog sniffed it and started licking my hand. So I bent down and started petting the dog and the dog wanted me to follow it. The dog was beautiful and it looked like it was a german shepard mix.1

I followed the dog for quite a distance and came to some caves. It looked like you could walk in the cave and explore. So I decided that the tide would not come in yet for a while. So I went in and explored the cave. It was cold and the wind swept in and you got wet from the mist that came in. There was a narrow passage way and steps going down. So I took a chance and walked down the steps. When I got down to the ground level. The dog wanted me to follow. I found out. That the cave led to another end of the beach and there where people swimming and laying around and they were enjoying the sun. Then I found the who owned the dog and explained what happened. I thought something was wrong. I found out that these people have lived here before and were ship wrecked. I told them that they were able to get help and they did not want any. The family had been missing for years. I asked if I could help them and they said know. They had everything they needed. They invited me to stay for a while and we talked and I had gotten to know everyone. I decided. I needed to get back and I asked if they needed anything and they said no. I told them. I would try and come back and visit and when I did. They were gone. I brought someone who was related to some of the ones that were there. I had found out. I was talking to ghosts and they had died over a year ago.
