Sickness in Mold

His eyes glimmered dangerously as he tilted his head closer, angling his chin away slightly.2

The words he spoke didn't make it to her ears - the warm lull of his voice drowned all of her senses so the meaning was lost in the music. 3

It didn't matter, though.4

Even when she knew he was speaking of dark things, of her own death by torture, of hatred and poison, of deceit... even when these words brushed against her mind, the sounds slipped away from their meaning.5

Everything became beautiful.6

And when he said she'd give away her soul, she did it without question.7

She was a fool.8

Um... I don't know. Working on rephrasing everything... changing things. Should I add more?

    I think it works fine how it is, honey. I'm sorry i didn't comment sooner, but i have been uber busy. I didn't forget though. You've strayed away from physical description, which i'm sure is what you intended, nee? And thouroughly let us into the feeling you poured into this short story. I love it.
