You Tell Me (Poem)

Love1

Here's my attempt at something so powerful2

A force so strong it can tear you down3

Build you up4

Or throw you to the ground5

It seems to me6

I know the feeling7

But is it truly there8

This feeling I feel9

Is it more than nature's call to mate10

Did I just inherit a chemical reaction11

So you tell me12

As I lay my lips onto yours13

my eyes gazing into your soul14

Is this as real to you as it is to me?

    Powerful. A lot of people think of that same question. I know i myself have wondered about it a few times.

    Is it more than just a chemical reaction or an urge to mate? Scientists would probably tell you no. But me? I say yes it is more than that. A lot more.

    True love is way more than just mating instinct. It's wanting to be with someone for more reasons that just sex.

    So great poem. I liked it a lot.

      The right words.

      Glad you liked it. It was on the top of my head for a while and a few days ago I just decided to write it down. It actually came out better than I ever expected.

    thats a sweet poem,i like the colors on the side though i usaly get distracted i was still able it read it.
