"Ha! Now I will know who you really are!" Nayumi said. The person under the hood seemed to grin. "You think you can unmask me? You are a mere human! A mortal can never even get close to me." His grin seemed to fade. "You puzzle me. A human mortal should not be able to get this close to me. And certainly should not be able to defeat me in battle. Who are you?" Nayumi stiffened suddenly. "Who am I? Who are you?! Answer my question!" She snapped. He seemed to grin again. You don't know who you are, do you, young one?" he said in a whisperey voice that Nayumi found quite hard to resist. She lowered her eyes. "No. No I don't." she whispered. "Come with me, child. Together we shall rule the world." the hooded man said. "Get vengeance on people who anger you. Have everything we want, when we want it." "Ruling the world." Nayumi repeated dreamily. The hooded man held out his hand. Nayumi reached out her hand, then hesitated. "What's wrong, child?" The man asked, puzzled. "I feel like this is wrong. Like I'm betraying some cause." she whispered. "It's okay, my child. That feeling will soon pass." the hooded figures' cloak billowed in an invisible breeze. The shadows in and around the cloak seemed to make shapes and words in the breeze.
