Have you read your Bible today1
or did you see it and look away,2
Did you think "I'll read it soon3
if my schedule says I have room.4
When you saw it did you think to yourself5
I will go read it but then did something else.6
Is it now sitting alone on the table 7
because at the time you said you weren't able.8
Just be glad that God doesn't treat you9
like you care for your Bibles just tossed like an old shoe10
You see long ago He sent his own Son11
to die on a cross for the souls of everyone.12
He wrote a book that tells us the story13
about his Son who now is in Glory14
He died on that cross for your sins and mine15
and now is building us a home in Heaven divine16
So next time you think I'll read my Bible later on17
just remember that God sent his Son18
So that we can now understand so much more19
the Bible is our Guide to see whats in store.20
