A Wrtier's True Love

We are inseperable; two halves of the same soul.1

Without you, I am not completely whole.2

You are my gateway to adventure and my true love's first kiss.3

You are my tragic history and my reason for bliss. 4

You are the stranger rapping on my chamber door.5

You are the only one I could ever adore.6

You are my constant companion; my prince and my champion.7

You are my escape, my addiction, my hopes, my affliction.8

You are more than just some ink and loose-leaf paper.9

You are my life; the very pattern in which I choose to live by. 10

The wording delves deep into our emotions and the things we love. In this case, writing. You say a powerful amount in few words and that is admirable.

You are the stranger rapping on my chamber door.

Nice tip of the hat to Poe, and you used it in a way that worked with your poem. You have a talent for putting emotion into language.

  • wow there was just somrthing about this that i really liked. the deep emotion and...idk. i just really like it!
(i need to look up some of these words tho)

    • That's awesome. I'm glad you caught the deep emotion. And I understand the looking up words part. I do it quite frequently when I read a friend of mine's work.
