Romeo and Juliet Must Die…. Prologue

Never really believed in love. Or romance or fairy tales or happy endings, Or perhaps even romantic fairy tale endings, it all sort of seemed a load of crap to me…. If it wasn’t for the feelings that make you happy I don’t think anyone who had a right mind or left one would love at all.1

Love makes you do stupid things like smile and be happy and laugh and share feelings and emotions and make yourself wish that you could be forever together with that person… when has this ever happened….. In films? Books…. Made up TV programmes that are shown before watershed so that little kids and grown ups can watch it and think awww that’d never happen to me… but that’s the thing though… Love did…..2

Now don’t get me wrong i’m not saying I didn’t ask for it as every person has someone that there attracted too whether there the same sex or different sexes either way it happens and you’ve got to deal with it the same way that you’ve got to deal with periods and wet dreams….. No one likes it but if you lived your life without fancying or loving someone lets face it you’d either be dead or blind and deaf, That’s not meant offensively either as I’d of rather been deaf or blind or both perhaps even dead until a couple of months ago….3

I remember hearing a joke or something… if god is love and love is blind and stevie wonders blind does that mean he’s god….? I don’t know…. Who the hell cares…. Just proves my blindness theory….4

Love is supposed to be the greatest thing but its also the most dangerous.. I’ve seen most of my friends do the craziest things for love….. From dying there hair to dieting to the extremities of standing on a wagon and declaring there love for the one that they loved….. Ok that really only happened in the OC but still it happened….. 5

In some ways love is good.. It can bring out the best of some people, bring out things people havent felt in years, can make people feel wanted and loved and cared for like nothing can hurt them, Like there on air….. 6

Sometimes love can make you blind to all the floors in someone, To make you think that there the best thing for you like a drug, a good drug to drive your feelings….. Well I didn’t really believe in love or the effects of the love drug…. Until now……7
