The small naborhood was dark and quiet exept for the street lamps. No one was out exept a few stray cats and racoons. The only sound was wind blowing through bare trees. It was fall getting close to winter. It was the week end and normaly teens would be awake and about, but there had been some abnormal things going on around the small naborhood.
One of the house's doors opened silently and three figures sliped out carrying flashlights. They all had jackets on and hoods up, one had a trinch coat on, his usual wear. They slipped off the porch hurring across the lawn avoiding the glareing street light.
"Ow you stept on my toe!" One of the boys hissed. The one that spoke had short brown hair and bright green eyes. "Simon, shut it or some one will hear you!"the boy in the trinch coat snaped. He had long thin black hair and dark blue eyes. The third boy looked around them checking the windows. He had dark brown eyes and diedblue hair. "Come on guys lets go!" He said in a low voice to the others. The boy in the trench coat turned to him. "Your right,"He replied" Come on lets go."
With that they hurried off again down the street. At the end was a large and slightly run down house. It had a strange look to it. The moon rose behind it makeing it seem darker than normal. As the three boys aproched the building could be hurd creeking slightly with the wind. Simon looked up feeling as though the empty windows were watching them. "Tim.. I don't like this place..."Simon mumbled walking close to the boy in the trench coat. Tim looked back at him with a glare. "Your wimping out on us Simon?" He asked him darkly. "Hell no! I'm just saying maybe it's not a good idea.." Stamured Simon. Len glanced at the door way. The door was hanging on a hinge. Simon was argueing with tim. "Hey guys.. Do you feel like something's stareing at us..?" Lin asked them suddenly. The two others stoped and looked at the house. They all looked at the top middle window. They all stood stock still, becouse something was stareing back.
A tall figure was stareing down at them. Red eyes seemed to glow in the gloom as something stared at them. It disappeared off to the left of the window leaveing nothing but black in it's wake.
"Got the camra?"Tim asked turning to Len. Len only nodded stumbling with the camra from his pocket. Tim took a deep breath and said"Alright.. lets do it." They all hurried forward. Tim sliped into the front door first.
The room was dark, the only light comeing from the full moon outside the windows. dust sturred as wind blew threw the cracks. The three moved forward slowly looking around, Jumping every time the floor creeked. They all froze suddenly hearing creeking from above. The all looked up in different directions. A silent driping sound could be heard from the kitchen. Tim poked Simon in the side to go check it out. Simon nodded and crept to the door frame shining a light in. he sliped in looking around. he walked over to the counter. On it sat an odd cracked jar. It was dusty and old. A dark liquid seeped from the crack in the jar dripping onto the counter becouse of the odd angle of the jar that sat there. Simon blew on the jar and shined his light into it. His face went white as the jar glowed red. And as he stared into it, the eyes in it stared back. They were many different colors, and strangly odd colors. Simon dropped the flash light scrambling backward. The thick dust on the floor only caused the flashlight to make a soft thud. Simon felt something soft and warm behind him and his eyes widened. he turned slowly. A tall red haired girl stared down at him red eyes glareing. She grinned showing sharp blood staned teeth. "Like my colection?"She asked in a soft light voice. Simon was about to scream when her hand was around his throught her nails leaveing puncsures in his skin. He passed out from her hitting the right nerv ending.
Tim and Len looked at each other hearing a strange voice. They hurried to the kitchen and only saw Simon's flashlight on the floor flickering slightly. "My god.. Where did Simon go.."Len asked quietly looking around. "I duno.."Tim replied,"Bet he's playing a trick.. Come on." They walked threw the house trying to avoid the stares when they hurd the worst thing they thought they could ever hear in the place. A woman's voice drifted through the house. It was light and quiet singing softly, but it seemed to echo threw the walls. "Drip drop, tick tock, Slowly Time will pass,"The voice sang softly,"Drip drop, tick tock, Slowly the blood will pool."
Len's face went white as he listened to the song. "Wh-What is that..?" He asked looking at Tim. Tim only shook his head stareing at the ceiling. "I think it's comeing from upstares.."He wispered,"Come on lets check it out.." Len shook his head franticly,"No way man no way I'm going up there!" "Fine then stay here!" Tim hissed. He shined his flashlight on the stares swallowing hard. He walked towrds the stares slowly. He looked up twords the landing and slowly started to make his way up the stares.
Len stood watching as Tim disappeared around the corner of the next landing. He turned and walked quietly through the halls of the old house looking in rooms where the doors were open. He stoped at one of the doors looking down at the crack under the door. A faint light drifted out from under it. He looked at the handle and took a breath. He reached for it and opened it slowly pearing in. It was a bedroom. Candles were lit around the room. A figure layed on the forposter bed hidden by shadows of drapes around the top. Len walked slowly twords the bed and shined the light on the end of the bed.
The covers were in the shape of feet and covered with a thick layer of dust. Len moved the light up it slowly and froze when he saw a pale and grey hand. It two had dust covering it. Len swallowed and moved the light to the face. He nearly passed out. It was a young man with long black hair. The eyes were gone, so only sockets were left stareing up at the cealing. Dried blood could be seen from when it ran down the sides of the man's face.
Len went stock still as a light hand landed on his sholder. "I see you've meet my Friend here... He wished to leave me... When I did not want to leave him.."The sing song voice from before spoke softly in Len's ear,"So now.. I have him with me forever..." Len droped the flash light and the room went dark as the flashlight and the candles went out.
Upstares Tim froze hearing a yell from downstares, almost right under him. He felt the blood run all the way to his toes as he heard a faint woman's laughter. He hurried to the door on his right trying to open it hearing foot steps. The door was locked. He ran to the next one. He heard the knob click and he felt releaf wash over him as he sliped inside and closed the door quickly with a snap, he had his flashlight off stareing down at the bottem of the door. He went pale as he heard the song from befor being sung.
The sound of it slowly came closer becomeing louder. Tim could hear a distint thumping sound as if something was being draged up the stares and across the floor. Candle light sliped under the door where Tim was hideing as the singing and the dragging became louder. He stood waiting untell the singing became fainter and a door down the hall closed with a distint and echoing snap.
Tim swallowed hard wondering what had become of his frends. He fumbled with the flashlight, his hands swetty. He clicked it on and suddenly wished he hadden't.
The room Tim had come into, was almost like a tomb. Boddies were literaly stacked up the sides of the walls and even had severl rows. Each one, had only empty sockets and a few had gapeing mouths showing an enfanent scream. The floor was covered in dried blood. This room was much different than the rest of the house, It was the only room with no dust on the floor. Tim looked at some of the bodies on top, they were just bearly grey, Fresh.
Tim walked slowly stareing at the bodies. He looked down and saw a fresh trail of blood. He looked up the pile it led too and felt himself almost throw up. Simon was ontop of the pile. His eyes were gouged out and his toung cut out. Blood driped from his eye sockets and mouth. "My god simon what happened to you.."Tim wispered his hand on his mouth. He hurried to the door wrenching it open and hurring out. He froze as a laugh came from down the hall. He turned only to see the red haired girl stareing at him.
"Going some where my dear?"She asked inosently. Tim went pale. In her hand was Simon's eye. It was still moveing, it turned stareing at Tim. He watched in horror as she simply poped the eye in her mouth and swallowed. She sighed as though she'd just eaten a sweet fruit. "Wh-What are you?"Tim managed to sputter. The girl only looked at him and grinned as blood trickled from her lips. "A Demon of corse," She replied simply,"Did you like my little colection?" She pointed at the room Tim had just ran out of. Her fingers were pointed at the ends exactly like claws and covered in blood.
Tim swallowed hard as she started walking twords him. He was stareing at her eyes and couldn't seem to move. She slowly pulled out a seringe filled with a blue liquid. "You have such lovely blue eyes.... So much like His.."she said sweetly as she neared him. Tim could only stare his mouth opening slightly to scream. She stabed him in the neck with the needle and he instintly went into riggor. The only thing that moved was his eyes, He could still feal as he fell to the floor stareing up at her his heart beating wildly.
She leaned down to him smileing holding his eyelids open with claw like fingers. "Such a sweet treat.."She wispered softly. She poped his eye out easily cutting the nervs in the back with her claw. she examened the eye then smiled down at his one eye left. it looked like he was crying blood from one eye. She leaned down and poped the other one out. Tim slowly lost blood but could still hear her laughing lightly. "So sad to see such a lovely young man go... But oh well,"She said lightly,"Sleep well my dear..."
Tim listened as she walked away and closed a door with a snap. He layed there simply bleeding to death, he never passed out, untell his heart stoped beating, and the blood on his face dried on his cheeks, makeing him look as though he was forever crying.
The next day Tim, Simon, and Len's eyes were found on the frount posts of the old house. They still moved as people walked passed, even police were unsure to take them. A sign under the front gate written with blood, later proven to be the three boy's. The sign said a few simple words,"When is the next meal sent?"
