Friends

I wasn't big on being here but since I had to I figured I could try and make the most of it. My favorite time of the day was reces. I enjoyed going out and playing with my friend Lea.1

We were in the fourth grade. I had never really had a true best friend until after that day. 2

Lea was hanging out with another girl I had never met before. I went over to her with a smile. "Hey Lea, who is she?" I pointed toward the girl next to her. 3

Lea gave a half-hearted smile. "Hey Brittney, this is Bailey. Hang on a second will you?" I nodded and waited to her to finish talking to Bailey. "Bailey I don't want you to give me hugs anymore it gets annoying and please stop calling me your friend I don't like you anymore." Bailey nodded and walked away. Tears held back in her eyes. 4

I glanced at Lea. How could she say that, that was really cold. Bailey was just trying to be a great friend. "I'll be right back ok Lea." I started walking away without an answer from her.5

I went over to the monkey bars were Bailey was playing now by herself. "Hi Bailey, is it? I'm Brittney! I'm sorry about what Lea said that was really mean." 6

From that very second I said Hi we became best friends. We started sitting together at lunch everyday. We were so busy talking it took us the longest to eat. After lunch we would play together on the playground. We were never in the same class together but that didn't bother us. 7

There would be times when our classes would get together to watch movies. One time we kept talking the teachers had to tell us to be quite. We still kept talking, they told us again. We still kept talking. The teachers finally said they would split us up if we wern't quite. So we whispered even more and when the teachers would look over we would look at the t.v and shut our mouths. 8

The first time we were getting ready to have a sleepover together I had been so excited I wasn't able to talk. I ended up getting all my words confused that day and that night. 9

We had so many fun times together. We loved to stay up late even after her parents told us numoros times to get to sleep. We made jokes about each other and we called each other sisters.10

So badly we wished we really were sisters. 11

When we were about to go into the eighth grade I ended up moving away. We both shed a tear that day when I left. I lived four hours away from her so it was hard to have sleepovers and hang out everyday like we used to. 12

We still talked constantly by texting each other and emailing each other. We both devised a plan to see each other in the summer. 13

Ever since I moved I go see her once a year. Normally it is in the summer time and it is for about a week. We still have so much fun together. We call each other sisters. 14

It's quite surprising though because we have never had a real fight what-so-ever. We argue over little miniscule things, but never enough to hurt our friendship. Which I'm really glad about. 15

We have both been jealous of each other though. I would get jealous over her new boyfriends, but after time I would get over it and I was always able to stay happy about it. 16

I love her like my own little sister, that I never had. I wish I still lived near her but at least we are still there for each other as best as we can. She is still my friend and here on storywrite you can find her under the name dreamcloud-9.17

Friendship is great especially if you have a best friend that will stick with you through thick and thin. And be there forever.

Author notes

I hope its good. I didn't know how much my friend wants me to say and I don't want to hurt her.
