It happened one day, but not that long ago. A moment in life when time stops for one split second. The sounds of screams and weeps fill the air just as much as the thick, black clouds of smoke. The faces of that "famous group" travels through our minds like the tales passed down from old to young. Those few hours had stopped all life. Thousands perished and this number still continues to rise as time progresses to each day. The happy faces, once filled with joy and love, are all destroyed in one split second where this group conquered all. Beneath the ashes and rubble lie those who were the innocent; living their lives each minute at a time and seeing that, this time, it was too late. Those that they loved mourn over their deaths, not wanting to believe that this tragedy occured. Yet, each day, they oper their eyes, knowing that that one moment changed their lives forever. As the sunlight breaks through the smoke and haze, one ray of hope is shown. For this one moment, life changed in the blink of an eye. But can we move on and learn from our past instead of ignorning that this really did occur? This one day haunts us all, for this changed the lives of not just those who were lost, but all the views around the world. This one action haunts our past and without this, what would we want? To help ourselves, become better people or, perhaps, improve our world? Yet, although horrific and damaging to many, this one cause carried a powerful effect. For all of us not to take our lives for granted and to, finally, learn from our past...
