When the leaves turn Paper Mache6

And our bulbous lights and bulbous fruits7

Call the insects into play8

Frosted candy-apple core9

Cotton-candied reason10

Throw back your baseball caps and laugh11

We have our aquamarines and ultramarines14

Ambers and Onyx’s15

And the prettiest shades of green16

Wasted and burning with the unknown -17

Unseen.18

Her Styrofoam hands grip the edge19

Of the garbage drum20

And she spews acid21

Acid-rain of liquefied funnel cakes22

Funnel-clouds – Christmas ornaments in the sky23

Like the stars threw-up the earth.24

Too much spinning25

And like fly-away sugar clouds26

Star-Vomit.28

A small child, buzz-cut, begs his mom29

Two dollars to knock over the bottle tower30

No Rapunzel here.31

Encroaching on the life of a four-year old brat.38

Wild Cherry Road,39

Roxanne, and her surfboard caravan,40

On the moonlit billabong of a beach41

Where the trees grow lights and the wires grow fruit42

In the ocean of stars where the Ferris Wheel Stands.43

Ceramic horses44

Fire-manes skewered on poles45

Damned to ride on the wrong side of the tracks46

For eternity.47

A swirl of vanilla and chocolate48

Halcyon green, mermaid blue, yogurt pink49

Rainbow-flavored invisible.50

Round and round again.51

Strawberry blonde pigtails52

Whipping in the toffee-flavored wind.53

She waves55

Her leprechaun ribbons –tye-dye shoelaces56

I snap the camera57

And she stays, crystallized in time58

In liquid energy59

With the maple-syrup60

Bobbing apples61

Rats and Roaches63

The Garbage and the star-vomit.64
