[Naruto Fanfic] :.-.:-The Moon's Last Daughter-:.-.: One

It has been awhile since I first came to Suna. Right now I was in the academy with my friend Gaara. We were sadly separated into two other groups, for it was team time. "Suni Amari, Fubuki Iwari, and Mist, your on Team 14 with Ai-Sensei." I stared at the two people at the front row. They were really annoying. Mist was a really peppy girl with flirtatious actions. Fubuki . . . Got how I wanted to murder that kid, but I had to make friends with them if we would pass. "Guess I'm out, later Gaara." I waved to my friend before leaving the room, surprising my other teammates. "Hey, wait up!" I paused at the entrance, seeing Mist head my way. Fubuki was taking his time, yawning in boredom. "What?"
"You wanna come and eat with us?" She asked, her blue hair swishing with her movements. I rolled my eyes, shaking my head in a swift motion. "No thanks, I'm more of a solitude person, anyways." I left them both hanging, heading towards my apartment. Suna wasn't that hot, just humid. I was glad I had went shopping when I could. "Lelelelele, your a funny character." I stopped in my tracks, looking upward.1

There, perched on a balcony, was a strange-looking girl with spiked brown hair and beautiful honey eyes. "How so?"
"Hyuk hyuk, you seem to hate company, yet your around it often." The girl flipped from the balcony, landing on her feet. I stared at the girl, amazed on how much she read on me. "Your the Moon Princess that escaped, no?" She purred, standing in-front of me. I glared slightly. "What of it?"
"I was just asking, jeez. It's really cool, so how'd you end up in Suna?" I began walking towards my building, with her following behind. "I was mistaken on my coordinates, I was suppose to end up in Kohona."
"Lululu, that's sweet, I'm Shiro by the way."
"Suni." I shook hands with her before entering my room, feeling slightly comforted by her presents. "Do you have any cookies?" Shiro asked, settling at my kitchen table. I smiled, something I haven't done in forever. "Yeah, so what's your story?" I inquired, taking out a box of cookies. She munched on them lightly, her eyes glowing with happiness. "I'm a bored little human with nowhere to go, so I decided for Suna. I really don't remember which village I was in before that." 2

So Shiro and I continued to get to know one another, becoming great friends over the weeks. "Ai-Sensei, are you alright?" I asked, kneeling to her side. "Teacher's pet." I sighed in frustration, turning to Fubuki. "You know what? Your a really bitch, ya know? Do you know how hard I've worked? NO! So shut your pipe before I do!" I threatened, helping Ai to her feet. She smiled, her pink hair glistening in the sunlight. "Suni, don't blame Fubuki, and get along, please. I have great news, anyways." I raised a brow, stepping away from all three. "I'm going to sign you up for the Genin Exams!" Ai chimed, clapping her hands together. I smirked wildly. "Finally," I said, crossing my arms over my chest. "Heh, like you'd pass anyways."
"Shut up, Fubuki!" Mist whispered, grabbing his hand. I rolled my eyes. "Stupid couples . . . Ai-Sensei, may I leave?"
"Uh, sure Suni." As soon as those words left Ai's mouth, Shiro appeared at my side, her hand grasping my shoulder. "Hyuk hyuk. Let's go shopping Suni, I ate all your cookies."
"I figured, no worries." I smiled towards her, making the others stare in wonder. "What?" I asked. Shiro shook her head, leading me away from them.3

"Gaara! There you are!" I stepped over to his side, hugging his arm. He stared emotionless at me, seeing I had someone with me. "Gaara, this is Shiro-San! She's by buddy!" I turned to point at Shiro, but I didn't see her. "Shiro?" I blinked several times. "I-I-I'm over here, Suni." I gazed over to a red-faced Shiro, totally speechless. "Gaara, Shiro. Shiro, Gaara," I introduced, pushing Shiro over to Gaara. He glared her down before they shook hands. "Nice to meet you," Shiro sighed, releasing her breath. "Gaara! Is that Suni?" I turned on my heel, seeing Temari and Kankuro. "Oh shit . . . Shiro, we need to leave-"
"Suni! Hey how's it going?" Temari captured me in a huge bone-crushing hug. I tried to breath, but Kankuro was too busy rubbing my hair to notice. "Shiro!" I gasped, trying to push Temari away. "Is that what this cutie's name is?" Kankuro asked, looking down to Shiro. She backed up a step, blushing lightly. "Sorry!" Temari said, letting me out of her grasp. I fell to the ground, coughing. "Let's go." Gaara started walking away. "Bye you guys!" I called, waving lightly. They all followed Gaara, doing a piece sign.4

Fubuki walked along with Mist, holding her hand. "Fubuki . . . That team mate of ours, do you like her?" Fubuki looked down to her, raising a brow. "Nah, did you hear what she is?"
"What do you mean? She's not human?"
"Nope. She's a power generator for the Moon Kingdom, that's why she ran away, plus something about her brother dieing." Mist stared at the ground, picturing the emotionless pale-skinned girl, who never spoke unless spoken to, who left early, who never ate with others. "I think we need to become her friends, OK?"
"You know we can't stop fighting." Mist released his hand, stopping in her place. "Do you even know why? You made fun of her mother, Fubuki, and she probably doesn't even have one." Her boyfriend paused, really thinking about what he had done. "THat's true, alright. I'll apologize! As long as that girl isn't with her, she will tare my head off."5

I smiled at Shiro, who was dead asleep on the couch. I pulled a blanket over her, watching as she snuggled into it. "Sleep tight!" I whispered, heading for the bathroom.6

When the door was locked, I took off my shirt, staring at the curse mark my father gave me It was in the shape of two black dragons, hissing at the left and right, then some crests surrounded it, this was my signature mark. Suni Amari, The Moon's Last Daughter, the one under a curse, the generator. I felt tears come to my silver eyes, just before they turned blue with sadness. My life wasn't going to be clear without someone to replace Shishimaru, my mother, my father . . . It irritated me until I punched myself on the cheek. It may have hurt, but it knocked sense into me. I took a shower before going to bed.7

"I want her found!" Irshiru Ni Amari slammed his fist against his throne chair, glaring to Shishimaru, who was bowing to him. "We're trying all we can, My Lord, I have been searching in Kohona everywhere, maybe she has tried a different location?"
"Do not question my daughter! I oughta . . . Say, Shishimaru, how old are you?"
"I am sixteen, sir."
"Hmm . . . Interesting . . . Very well, I have decided, that if you find my daughter, you shall marry her." Shishimaru lifted his head, stared at Suni Amari's father in amazement. "Sir?"
"That's correct, now go."
