It’s five steps back,2
No matter how close3
I try to come.4
We’re getting further apart5
And soon you’ll be6
Beyond the horizon7
Never to be seen,8
Never to be heard,9
Never known to me again.10
I try and try to scream out to you11
But sound just never comes.12
You keep walking further13
And I stumble more.14
I get hurt and still15
You move further away.16
You’re oblivious to all the signs,17
Ignoring so many bonds and ties,18
Leaving me with only lies,19
Slowly letting our friendship20
Die

The first poem I've written in I think at least two, maybe three, months.
Summer's starting and college is around the corner, everyone I know has already started to abandon me.
