Kira got up and went to the kitchen to get a glass of water.  But instead of drinking it from a cup she turned of the faucet and began lapping it up from the dripping faucet .  She then felt a immense pain in her side.  Like her whole body was just burning.  She looked at her hands and arms they were beginning to grow course blondish hairs.  She looked out side there out in the dark black sky was a full moon just staring down at her.    Her whole body began to tremble her heart began to beat faster and she felt the pain for the very first time as she began to change.  She felt her skin began to feel coarse with hair.  Her stomach began to feel like it was expanding and when she looked to see what was happening her organs were shifting and her torso was beginning to grow larger. She saw her breast turn into nothing but little dots beneath a hairy chest.  She looked at her hands they began to become claws.  She watched them expand and then she fell to the floor and her legs began to grow muscle and were unable to stand up straight. Her face began to change her nose grew and stretched out and resembled that of a dog and a wolf. Her ears begin to form those of a dog.  Her senses enhanced and she could smell everything.  Her mother sleeping ahead of her .  The twins in there bedroom and Jack tossing and turning in there sleep the screeching of the bed springs as weight shifted in the bed.  She was so amazed so intrigued she couldn't help herself.  She jumped out the kitchen window and ran out into the night.  Not knowing what she would do if anything at all.  1

She ran down alley ways and smelled the scents of garbage and rotten food.  She smelled the familiar scents of her friends and ran into them.  They were all just like her large wolf like creatures.  "Guy...whats happened to us?" A dark one said.  "I don't know," She heard Melody shout at her.  They weren't saying words really it was just like growls and rumbles in their throats.   "This is crazy!" A blondish one said.  "This is amazing!" She said again.  "Reina this so isn't funny" Rini said in a rough tone.  "Well i can totally smell everything," Reina said.  "So what do you we do now?" Kira said to the rest of them.  Before any of them had time to reply a voice from the alley gave a reply.  "You do nothing, this is how you are now and you are all ours,"  Said a deep voice from the alley.  "Who's there?" Melanie growled.  They could smell the different scents of each of the shady black figures.  "There are six of them." Said Tiffany her voice trembling.  This is the first time she had spoken and she seemed afraid of everything and everyone.  "Tiffany just breathe okay we will be fine,"  Rini said trying to reassure her.  "Look okay we need to talk girls," growled the dark figure and emerging from the alley way.  When it as close they saw they were just like them except more huskier and had more muscles.  The girls drew themselves to each other and cowered as a group into a nearby lot.  "No need to be afraid were just here to choose one and explain to what you are,"  The leader in the front said.  "What do you mean by choose?"  Kira replied.  "We will explain we each need a mate for the new moon ceremony and we would like to each take one of you,"  The leader said.   "Why are we like this?...Explain that and then we will give you our answers about the mate thing," Reina said.  Kira looked at her in surprise her mouth was open and she gasped. "Reina shut it," Reina just looked away and looked at the males.  She began to pant and go crazy like a dog in heat once she started so did the other girls.  After awhile all the girls were going crazy.  Kira tried to hold back the urge but couldn't it was to powerful.  The males began to join chasing the girls and pairing off one male to one female.  Kira ended up with the leader a a handsome dark haired male.  "Who are you?" She said.  "Can't you see can't you tell? " He said his voice causing shivers down her back.  "No i can't am i supposed to?" She said.  "It's me Darien," He barked at her.  "Darien!?!" She howled,  "Then they are your friends,"  She said pointing to the males that were with her friends. "Yeah its us,"  He said a smile creeping onto he dog face.  "Were you the ones who attacked us too is this all so you can be with us? Whats going on Darien?"  She growled at him pushing him away.   "Well it wasn't by choice we were told to," He said a sad look in his eyes.  "Who told you to?"  She yelled at him.  "I don't know the one who controls all of our kind," "There are more of us?"  "We are werewolves and we are dying out we needed to get more females and have more pups i didn't mean to get you into this,"  He said his eyes turning to look at the ground.  She felt bad for yelling at him but the thing was this was all his fault.  "I'm sorry, its just that why  us?" As she said this the other began to gather around them and sit on there paws.  "We needed a group of women or girls that would be loyal and would be able to hold out and have pups for us, plus we all liked you so yeah we chose you," He said smiling a wolfish smile.  "Oh.." Kira said she felt like she was blushing but her coat was hiding it.  "Well want to go meet the rest of the pack and see what else they can answer that you would want to know," Darien said.  "Well i guess we can't just hang around town all night what if someone sees us?"  Reina said.  "They would just run away and we would have to attack them,"  Devon said.  The girls just looked at him "Well OK anyway lets get going," Derek said.  He was a lighter shade of brown and a lot smaller but just as husky as the rest of them.  And with that on there minds they all ran into the night a dozen werewolves a sight that would have frightened any onlookers.2
