Autum's Diary Chapter One

The breeze was warm one summer afternoon. 1

I buried my feet in the rough sand and I breathed in deeply.2

I opened my arms wide,listened to the waves, and thought about my deepest thoughts.3

It was so peaceful. 4

I saw the sun sink behind the ocean as the clouds change color.5

From white to orange and pink.6

Wow, isn't this peaceful. I thought to myself. God is so amazing. He created all of these! He created me, He created the sun, he created everything.7

Suddenly my thoughts were interrupted.8

"What now?" I mumbled.9

"Autumn,sweetie, time for dinner!" she yelled from the front porch.10

"Okay, mom! I'll be right there!" I yelled as I stood up and wiped the sand of my favorite denim skirt.11

"Please hurry up! We have some guests coming over and while you go upstairs to wash up call your brother for me! Thank you!"12

"Okay, mom. You could stop shouting now." I smiled. " So what time are they com-" 13

After I could finish my sentence the doorbell rang.14

"Well about now, Autumn. Hurry up please." She giggled.15

"Okay."16

As I combed my hair, I stood up to call my brother.18

"Trevor! Are you in there? We have some guests downstairs." I called from outside his room.19

But there was no responce. I called him again, but still there was no responce.20

I opened his door slowly and saw him looking out his window crying.21

"Trevor are you okay?" I asked walking towards him. " What's wrong?"22

"Nothing." He said in a low voice.23

"Nothing? I never seen you cry." I said comforting him. " Is it about dad?"24

He just stared at me.25

Our dad left us when I was about twelve years old and Trevor was about fifteen years old. He ran away with another woman. She was my dad's client. She was beautiful and polite, but I still hated her. Of course who wouldnt hate her she ran away with my dad!26

"I know how you feel. I think about him everytime, but it's not your fault." 27

"I know it's not my fault. I hate him Autumn I just do!" He clenched his fist.28

"You have to forget about him, Trevor." I placed my hand in his big arms.29

"Stop crying please. Your like the most popular guy in school who has idiotic and imature friends. Sorry." I giggled.30

"Whatever. I like my idiotic and imature friends. Your just jealous I have good looking friends and all the girls like them." He teased.31

"Well at least James Blue is my best friend and he's the brother of your best friend! Ha beat that!"32

"Okay fine!" He said raising his hand." I'm so lucky to have you as my sister. I mean you know how to cheer people up! I love you." 33

"I know. Kidding. I'm lucky your my brother, because your my over protective brother." I hugged him.34

"Well, come on! Let's stop this drama and lets go downstairs to greet our new neighbors." I laughed grabbing his arm.35

"Wow your so excited to see them." He said running with me.36

"I know! I dont know why."37

As we reached the kitchen we saw the unexpected.38

Trevor and I stood frozen. 40

"It's like you two saw a ghost." a brown haired boy with deep ocean blue eyes said about my age.41

He was handsome his nose was sharp, but not too sharp. His skin was pale and his lips were cherry red, his cheeks were rosy red. His hair all over the place. He had long eyelashes and he was tall,but an inch taller than the other boy. He was wearing a black jacket and a white plain T-shirt inside. His jeans were black. He was my best friend James, but the other one not so much he was more like my enemy, but we get along well sometimes when we go to the beach.  42

We were still frozen.43

"Autumn and Trevor are you okay?" My mother asked waving her hand in front of us.44

Finally, we started moving.45

"What are you guys doing here where's our new neighbors?" Trevor asked still shocked.46

"We are your new neighbors." another boy said.47

He looked like James, but an inch shorter. He had deep green eyes his hair was brown with a little bit of blonde and all over the place. He was handsome too. His skin was tan, his nose was sharp he had muscles like James too, but  nicer. He was wearing a white plain T-shirt and black jeans.48

"James Blue and Seth Blue? The Blue family?! Your my new neighbors? Your kidding me right?" My eyes started to shine and a big smile started to cross my face.49

"No we're not kidding and yes we are your new neighbors." He said opening his arms wide to give me a hug.50

I ran as fast as I can to hug him. 51

We both fell on the hard ground.52

"Ouch! That hurts." James said in a low painful voice.53

"Sorry." I mumbled. " We're both going to school together!"54

"But we always go to school together and we always hang out." He told me. "Can we stand up now? I need to stretch the pain." 55

I got up and reached out my hand to help him up.56

We all ate dinner talking and laughing together.57

Seth and Trevor were talking about the hottest girls in school and who'll they take to the Prom.58

"So who are you taking to the Prom Seth?" I asked.59

"Why should you care?" He asked annoyed.60

"I don't know? I'm just curious." I said innocently.61

"Who will you bring?" He asked.62

"I'm not going." I simply said.63

"Well I'm taking Sarah Conner." He said proudly.64

"Okay, so who will you bring Trevor?" 65

"I'm taking Sally Conner." He laughed.66

"Wow! Your taking the popular girls." James said amazed.67

"It's like its you for first time to see them date hot girls." I grinned.68

"Can we stop talking about this?" Seth said annoyed. " It's starting to annoy me." 69

"That's the goal." James said with a low voice.70

After dinner James, Seth, Trevor, and I went to the beach and talked about lots of stuff.71

When all of us spend time together I feel like we're all close. 72

We laughed all night 'til we finally accidentally slept on the beach.73
