Life Changing Choice (unfinished)

She hung up the phone and sat down on her bed holding back the tears. He's done this to her before. She knew they'd get back together. Maybe. No, she couldn't let herself think like that, she WAS sure. Positive. She layed down and began crying. It still hurt that he did this to her. Cheated on her over and over. Said sorry, that she was too good for him, and broke up with her. Then they'd get together days later. 1

It was terrible. She knew he only did this so he could go off and have sex with girls who were 'easy'. They were both only 15 and she didn't feel sex was necessary at this age. But she'd been having thoughts about how maybe it would keep them together, make their relationship stronger.2

She had been to at least 6 sex-education classes at school and her mom had taken her to a couple. She knew the risks. What were the chances though? She couldn't remember. She didn't care any more. No, she did. Or did she? She flicked off her light and fell asleep deciding to think about it in the morning.3

"CASEYYYYYYYYYYYYY!"5

Casey shot awake and layed in her bed a moment wonder what she was worrying about the night before. She decided to forget about it since her mom was yelling at her. She jumped up and slipped on her swimsuit remembering it was the first day of summer and planning on lounging out by the pool all day.6

Casey walked downstairs in her black halter top and bikini bottom swimsuit smiling at her mom feeling oddly happy.7

"Hey mama."8

Casey's mom smiled.9

"Your happy today Cassidy."10

"Yep."11

Her mom flashed her a grin.12

"Planning on a day by the pool?"13

"Yep. All day."14

Casey grabbed her mp3 player and sun glasses then headed to the back and pulled up a lawn chair by the pool. Putting on her sun glasses and placing her headphones in her ears she layed back on the chair.15

Casey opened her eyes and realized she dosed off. Suddenly her boyfriend, Jake, walked into the backyard. 16

"Hey Casey."17

Casey looked away taking off her sunglasses.18

"Jake-uh-how did you get back um...here?"19

"Your mom let me back. She left to go somewhere."20

Casey nodded, "business trip."21

Jake pulled up a chair and sad beside her. It was apparent that they were over their breakup the previous night. They sat talking for awhile when Jake suddenly leaned over and kissed her, ever so lightly. And Casey went along with it. 22
