Drunk: Tonight is a beautiful celebration that we all should drink to....1

All: CHEERS TO 'TONIGHT'!!!2

Drunk: *ahem* If I may continue...Tonight is the night of all nights....3

All: CHEERS TO 'ALL NIGHTS'!!! 4

Drunk: Now if I may add...5

All: TO ADD!!!!6

Drunk: Excuse me....7

All: TO EXCU-8

Drunk: SHUT UP!!!9

All: *quiet*10

Drunk: *straightens up* Now, I can finish...Tonight is the night of all nights. The night we feel happiness. The night we feel saddness. The night we feel love. The night we feel hatred that runs hidden in our bones. So that is why we are drinking. To rid ourselves of that hate that we have stored for years. 11

We will drink this night away.12

Bearded man in the back: *tearing up* THAT. was. beautiful!13

All: Yeah, man. That was great. 14

*people pat the drunk on the back and clap and applaude.*15

Drunk; *raises his pint* Now. Let's drink!16

Bearded man in the back; Cheers!17

Crowd: Chin-chin, Mates!18

My favorate movie would have to be....Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children
My favorate song is Gone with the Sin by HIM
And my favorate book (actually story) is Edgar Allan Poe's The Tell Tale Heart.

    Hahaha well done! captures alot of different feelings, a bit dark, insightful and funny... all in less than three hundred words.

    Probably the most original passage ive read today.
    I like youre style too, this is kind of a difficult one to critique so ill just say.........

    It was quite hilarious.

    I don't really know how to provide constructive criticism for this, as it is, by its very nature, not easily critiquable.

    LOL!! this was realy nice, very entertaining piece, I have some experience with drunk people, I never got drunk myself, but I've been around them, and this piece brough some memories foward... nice job keep up the good work!

    Really very insightful, and funny.

    People often drink to 'socialise', but we all know that drinking has a strange effect on some people. Some get chatty. Some sleepy (me). Others get angry and abusive. Your Dad's story really is very thoughtful, and funny.

      Strangely when I am drunk I am the same but the people I hang out with are the exact opposite of what they are normally like.
      Yes, alcohal does have strange effects.
