Days Without Grace(Unfinished!)

"I don't want to move!"  Those were the words out of Jenna's mouth.  Jenna was a girl with radiant red hair, a gorgeous smile, and a lot of friends.  She felt that it was all being taken away from her when her parents said that she would be going to a new school.1

Sure, the new house was great, but the school was not a place where she would want to move to.  It was small, and the people were, well, they were different than the people she was used to.  They weren't so agreeable, at least, with her!  Plus, it was the middle of winter!  Who moves at that time?2

Well, the dreaded day came.  Jenna had taken those steps to the bus stop.  It seemed like it was taking forever!  Well, it was freezing cold outside and the bus was late!  Jenna could remember the school secretary saying to wait at the bus stop by seven o'clock, and it was seven thirty!  Well, this might take a while.4

The bus finally drove up, kids laughing and chattering until Jenna took to the steps on the bus.  It went dead silent, and all she got were stares from every child.  Each kid said that their seat was reserved, for a friend or a backpack.  Whatever got them a seat without Jenna would be used as an excuse.5

Finally, the bus driver assigned Jenna a seat.  It was occupied by a boy named Danny.  Oh, he was handsome, his chin-length blond hair shining in the sunlight.  Oh, how Jenna wished that he would talk to her, but he just stared out the window, into the endless plains of snow.6

The bus came to a halt.  There it was!  The school that was ruining the life of this girl!  Well, Jenna walked through the double doors like a wounded soldier, aware that the outcome would be horrendous!7

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~8

The Principal was there to meet Jenna.  He had a wry smile upon his face, a pink shirt, and khaki pants.  Jenna couldn't help from laughing at that shirt, but the Principal insisted that it wasn't pink, it was raspberry!9

The Principal's name was Mr. Petersen.  He was six feet tall, which was the size of a giant compared to Jenna.  Well, she wasn't intimidated, but it was a huge size difference!  Mr. Petersen led Jenna into the office to get her a schedule and to have her sign some forms.10

Jenna's first class was English.  It was okay.  Just the boring stuff that she had learned over the years in grade school.  The teacher was slim, with hair as golden as the sun.  Her name was Mrs. McNeil.  She seemed pretty nice, but first impressions were usually lies.  At least she didn't give homework that day, for the other kids had just taken a test!11

You, dearest One, will write your story ONE day at a time: from second to second; hour to hour; day to day. Be you!

Thanks for the comment! I will soon write more! Well, I just didn't have time to finish yesterday!

When I was 8 I moved from Schaumburg, Illinois(actually hanover park...but I was walking distance from schaumburg and was on the border of the two suburbs)...it was very industrious and I had tons of friends.

My dad decided to move and get horses. He had a great job then, and he was also a professional with horses. As soon as we got the horses, he was layed off from his job, for the company was bought out. Well, he went for a while unemployed...but he finally found a job that wouldn't say that he was overqualified!

Well, most of the people out here turned on me in sixth grade...because they didn't believe that I should become a vegetarian(most of these people profit from the meat industry)....well, I knew a few people who didn't even want to look at me when I came in third grade, but that was only because they thought my diabetes was contagious! LOL!

Well, those people never got to know me, and the rest just turned their backs on me. I only have one true friend out here...I miss my friends from the suburbs...but I cannot see them a lot...they are a few hours away! LOL!

So, my true friend and I just sit between two lockers(in a doorway) and eat lunch in the hallway instead of the cafeteria, where we are made fun of. It sounds pathetic, but the more I try to be nice to the other people, the more harsh they act to me. You just cannot please some people!

    Dearest Soul

Ah. Well, Jenna could influence the lives of many people in this town and in this school. With hair like that, and with a warm smile, she is soon to be herself again -- a lovable, and cheerful writer in the pages of her book and in the hearts of others.

One day I will tell you about my move from a beautiful farm to an industrial city -- and how I picked the yellow flowers of weeds on the pavement whilst walking to school and put it in a tumbler for my teacher ... and in the afternoons doing the same for my mother.

OH! How I MISSED Glenheath, and its lovely meadows and mountains ... See: you really take me down memory lane ...
