Sardines

Better than hide-and-seek, I like the game Sardines. In Sardines, the person who is IT hides while everybody looks for him. When you find him, you hide with him. Pretty soon everybody’s hiding together, stacked in a small space like puppies in a pile. Before long somebody giggles and somebody laughs and everybody gets found.3

Wow that was a lot of years ago. You took me straight back to a trip we took to eastern oregon. there were 12 kids there all about the same age and we played this every night in the farm yard and there were some serious hiding places!
This was a great look at childhood and i love the pictures
    Too much fun!!
Thank you for this walk down memory lane and good luck

Hey~ this is precious, and I never played that game. This is a fitting story in the fact that the one before it is about another type of hide and seek, they tie in together nicely, and just made my day!

What beautiful puppies and dogs. I love the pictures they are so sweet and cute. Your write was quite sweet too, a childhood game that gathers them all together at the end. Wonderful and unique piece. Great job and thank you for sharing it.

The pictures are adorable! I love puppies! And dogs LOL Kittens are like that too, as well as adult cats...my cat is awful. She was worse when she was a kitten though, hiding with her siblings and refusing to do anything except attacking now and then. The pictures are absolutely adorable! I love dogs! Thanks for sharing, and the text that is added just compliments the pictures so much!

    Dear Christina,
When I think of the places we used to hide in when we played sardines, I am struck with nostalgia because I couldn't bend enough now to get my larger frame into them. If I remember rightly it was ALWAYS one or other of the GIRLS who giggled and gave us away!
Thanks for giving some fond memories. Ap-plause and good luck in the contest.
    Love and hugs, XXX (Uncle)Hugh.

We used to play sardines years ago, many giggly hours spent, and happy memories made. Love the pictures, you've really got your hands (paws) full.

This brought a smile to my face, which I desperately need now. It seemed so heartfelt and innocent. I wished I had friends that would still play sardines.

The pictures alone has me giggling! I remember this game well. My oldest brother and some of other kids on our block use to play this for hours. It never failed... somebody would ALWAYS give us away! And no matter who you were... you didn't want to be the only one that wasn't part of the pile. This is cute. Good luck in the contest. Just what I needed... more great competition! Hummpph!
