A mutter and evil laugh vibrated from the shadowy cloak of the opposing figure. 'You think you are more than a mere warrior? You make me laugh. Don't you know what and who you are facing? You should by now' replied the figure.2
'Draw your sword then! Fight me and we will see who really deserves the title of The Rider!'3
“You have made another mistake, and your mistakes are worsening. Don’t you realise that no one has defeated me? I am The Rider. No one can defeat me; not unless they have powers beyond what I have seen over my two hundred year reign.”4
“We will see about that” shouted Boer readying his blade. 5
With his feet planted in the bone dry dirt, he swung his sword above his head; showing his enemy he was ready for anything. The cloaked figure lunged forward, revealing which appeared to be a Tachi. The sword was longer than the usual sword Boer had seen. It was slightly curved, and caught the light easily, throwing colourful patterns onto the various surfaces surrounding both Boer and his opponent. 6
Striking viciously, the cloaked figure aimed for Boer’s side but Boer was able to dodge the fast moving strike. Turning back to his enemy, Boer lunged for a handful of dirt to block his enemy’s sight, but as he set his focus back on this figure, he had gone. Boer ran a circle, trying to find where he had fled, but with no luck. A horn sounded, representing the fact that another race was there. And that they knew Boer was there too. Throwing his handful of dirt to the side, Boer contacted his companion with what little concentration he had remaining. Throwing himself from the ledge he was on, he landed on the back of his dragon. Wings beating quickly, they were soon out of sight of anything that would be lurking too near. 7

Aaannnd.. I drew the Dragon up the top. His name is Rhianiath. Kyla (amaranth816), my Ap big sister came up with his name.
I'm wanting your opnion on something too.. I was wondering whether you thought my dragon up there looks make or female? Cause.. I'm making Rhianiath a she in this story, lol. Her name be Jade

I love dragons!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for writing a dragon story... I wouldn't be brave enough to do so! I DEFINITELY want to hear what else happens to Boer and Rhianiath... Since Rhianiath didn't get to star in this episode.
You have captured my attention! I am dying to know what the title of "The Rider" means. And this race... What's with that? And why did the cloaked rider flee? So many questions. By limiting the information you give, you have ensured that the reader will HAVE to read the next part, which will be coming shortly, won't it? 'Cause if there's no next part, I might have to set my golden dragon Amaranth on you... And my giant tiger Tahra... And my silvery horse Rimonin! No unicorns yet... I had one named Noella, but she's gone to visit Lacyte.
So yes, wonderful write, and please oh please keep going with this one!!! YAY FOR MERI!!!!!!

Gotta love the dragons! I sure do Great drawing - i think its really cool. Now to the story - I thoroughly enjoyec this first installation to what is the first chapter of many tallented and eye drawing chapters I think you should continue with it - i would like to read more on it and see how the tale evolvs. Claps!!!

Bravo! Bravo! I think this is an awesome start. The Dragon is also cool! The title of this story captured my attention because theres a trilogy called The Demon Child, and in that book it has Dragon Riders-and they are really cool
