Love Life Over? Chapter 2

Chapter 21

I took in a deep breath and braced myself for what was about to happen. I started to go towards my locker until i was standing in front of demetry pacing, so i just stood there until he was done.2

"uhh.. hey" i said finally getting his attention, he stopped and looked up but began pacing again.3

he stopped again and stood in front of me.4

"why were you walking with alex today?" he said a little anger in his voice5

"we were just walking to school, why?whats wrong?are you okay?"i said putting a hand on his shoulder6

he shook my hand off and looked at me7

"yea im fine, and im sure thats not what you two were doing!" he said looking over my shoulder to someone but i didnt look i just kept staring at him.8

are you sure your fine? and yes we were just walking, thats it" i said hands raised in a protective way.9

"uhuh sure!!and i said i was fine!!" he yelled and with that he just took off down the hall.10

i just stood there confused and mad at him for thinking that!! he never yelled at me before maybe once or twice but that was along time ago. With a 'hmph' i put my books away, i turned to my left where demetry was looking and saw alex with a new kid, he just looked at me and i turned around but nearly jumped when i saw bri and eli there.11

"hey" i said, they both had confused looks on their faces.12

"what was that about" bri said. bri and eli are my two bestest friends, bri was the kind of girl who people call "weird" but to me she is the greatest person ever she understands me and gets me not like anyone else, she is a punkish kinda girl she always wore bright or dark colors, you could say random. Today she wore a bright green shirt with a fariy on it and some black skinny jeans with some black converse, she had jet black hair, black eyes and had a green bow in her hair. Next was eli she was a preppy kind of girl (i know,a preppy person hanging out with a punk) she was a person who spoke her mind literally and drew too much attention to herself which i didnt like, too much attention would make me feel sick. she wore a plain purple shirt, a blue mini skirt, and some purple flats, she had short brown hair and brown eyes.13

"i dont know its been weird lately" i said rubbing my head with two fingers. I turned back around to where i saw alex and that guy, but when i turned they werent there. i shrugged and started heading towards the lunch room and got in the line with bri and eli right behind me. I got my food and got out of the line to wait for bri and eli to get their food so we can go sit down, once they got theirs we got a table at the center of the room. I sat down and started picking at my food.14

"so who are you going to the dance with?"eli said. i looked up15

"I might be going with trevor" bri sad with a smile. trevor is the new skater kid she has been going out with,i swear you can never get those two apart when they kiss.16

"im gonna go with chris" eli said proud. chris is a guy that girls drool over the guys want to be him and the girls want to go out with him.17

"what about you jaz?" bri said, i just shrugged and looked away to the table alex and the new guy were sitting at. The new kid seemed angry, and he looked like he was yelling at alex, he also kept glancing over at our table a few times and alex only looked once. I turned my head back around to bri and eli, they both had shocked faces on.18

"what?" i said confused.19

"what do you mean you dont know?you always go to dances" eli said shocked20

"well i dont want to go especially with demetry hes being a jerk" i said while slumping in my chair and picking more at my food.21

"what did that boy even do to you?"eli said22

"he thinks im cheating on him with alex and he got all mad when i said if he was okay"i said a little mad again23

"well that sucks" bri said, i threw myfork at her and looked away again to the table with alex but he wasnt there neither was the new kid.24

"well theres plenty of fish in the sea, 'cause you need to come to the dance no matter what" eli said. i sighed, got up and got my tray and headed towards the door.25

"what did i say" eli said26

"you always say something wrong"bri said with a little chuckle27

i threw the tray in the trash and walked out the door, i wasnt watching where i was going until i bumped into someone and landed on my butt.28

"oops! sorry" alex said29

"no its ok" i said, he offered me his hand and i took it.30

"i wasnt watching where i was going" i said while brushing my butt off.31

"neither was i" he said with a little smile, thats when i noticed the new guy standing behind him.32

"oh this is robert" he said moveing out of the way so i could see him.33

"hey" he said, i nodded my head a little34

"hey" i said waving a little.35

i just stood there with alex and robert looking at me. i cleared my throat and said,36

"well ill see you guys later then" i said walking around them. i turned my body a little to wave.37

"okay then" i heard alex say.38

I went towards the exit to the front of the school where i always go when i need alone time. I stepped out the doors and went under a tree with shade and sat down, i got my ipod out and put the earphones in my ear. I put my backpack on my lap and closed my eyes to the song "My Chemical Romance-Give 'em hell kid". Once the song was over i felt someone standing over me, i opened my eyes to see robert in front of me, smiling.39
