"It's my birthday. Kiss me." I said. There Edward was. Looking perfect. I could never measure up to him. I knew it. But why was I in love with him? Why was he in love with me? Ok Bella, live in the present.1

"We should get going to my place." Edward said.2

"Ok." I said.3

"Bella! Your here finally!" Esme screamed. All the sudden everybody gathered around. Rosalie, Emmett, Alice, Jasper, Esme, and Carlisle. All here to celebrate my birthday. 5

"I made a cake for you too." Alice said.6

"You guy's don't even eat." I said.7

"Well open the presents." Esme said handing me a present. I started to tear the paper up.8

"Ow. Paper cut." I said. I continued to open the present. Jasper started running at me. Edward pushed Jasper out of the way and pushed me out of the way into the table with the glass plates on it. As I landed glass shaddered around me. One of the pieces cut my arm open about 4". I got up and stared. Edward looked ashamed. Everybody started to go outside except Carlisle and Edward.9

Carlisle got me to the dining room table and took a look at my arm.10

"Edward will you go get my stiching kit?" Carlisle asked. Edward left the room and came back with a case.11

"So not a very good birthday afterall?" Edward said.12

"No, not really. Things usually don't happen like this. But how am I supposed to go home to Charlie like this?" I asked. 13
