As she walked she began to get more control of herself. By the time she had reached her dorm room she had almost full control of her emotions. Her feeling of disappointment was a strong one, however it had begun to subside. She placed her things on her bed and sat down at her computer. She opened her Instant Messenger window and saw a message from a familiar person. Joe had sent her another one of his sweet remarks. This one, just like every other hinted at a more intimate relationship between them. She had been considering this possibility for a long time, but then Neil had come along and she couldn’t help but fall for him.1
Joe was a sweet guy and although he peaked her interest, he didn’t even come close to Neil. She sat at the chair pondering the day’s events. First there was Neil, handsome with pitch black hair and tan skin, and eyes so dark and deep she got lost every time she looked into them. On the other hand, there was Joe, sweet and cute, although somewhat plain with brown hair and hazel eyes. She had been decidedly turned down by Neil and so there was no chance of anything happening between them. But could she date another guy, knowing full well that she had feelings for him?2
